Is that not for season 21/22 ?

I think next season the difference is which qualification round the club/Klub enters...

can still make all the difference.

Don't think we are getting an automatic spot in the next two years. Could be wrong, but I thought the only change was that we was getting a second spot in the qualifiers and the Champions would have one less round to go through.

I know the huns have had two decent runs and so did we last year in the Europa, but I can't imagine that suddenly jumps us from 1 CL and 4 rounds, to 2 CL with an Auto to the groups.

He absolutely has mate, c'mon open your eyes!

You know, I actually woke up really early this morning and couldn't get this whole debacle out of my mind - lay in bed just thinking about all this *. I've actually been trying to plan where I can * off to should der Hun actually win the league. There is no * chance I am staying glasgow to witness that shower of * celebrating/gloating/marching.

Then, I had a bit of a vision. Perhaps I fell asleep for a wee bit and was dreaming, or drifting into a sleep, but I envisioned us actually pulling it back and winning. So, for a moment I thought - "hey, maybe Lennon does deserve support (something no other manager on the planet would receive). Maybe the board are gonna back him even more and bring us a couple of game changers in January, maybe it's totally down to the players or something". So I got quite optimistic, thought to myself maybe you're just being a * and looking into things wrong.

    Then....

I read this utter, utter nonsense from Lennon this morning about building a players lounge. And, you know what? Any little shred of optimism I had completely disappeared from memory. I have NEVER heard such * nonsense coming from the mouth of a football manager in my life! Not even the complete insanity coming from the mouth of Pedro Caixinha lives up to anything that Lurgan Plop as pooing out of his mouth *. Players lounges? Covid only affecting his players? Board have complete faith?

I'm honestly dreading whatever comes out of this man's mouth next. I genuinely think I would have far more respect for the man if he just cut out all of the bullshit, stopped trying to treat fans with contempt and just be honest and shoulder the blame. How about an apology at least ffs? And not just a promise that it'll "come together".

Every word that passes out his mouth is delusional, deflective pish, blaming every man and a disease for his own short comings and inabilities. That is no leader. That is cowardly. This is his last stand. He's berated the players and its not worked. Some have downed tools. His last attempt is deny problems, shower them with praise or wishy washy excuses such as corona virus has affected them and zero fans.

The lack of fans has helped him majorly. He would have been out on his * long ago had they been there. The board are stubborn and naive also. Planning for a weak opponent is a terrible strategy. Buying this nonsense that that the games in hand are guaranteed points and its all rosy if we win all the games in hand against the dead club. Bull *!!!! Each game and week that passes is further regression and missed opportunity to claw back the gap and respectability of the club.

He is Lawell and the boards puppet and patsy to balance books and appease the GB. The board are culpable also and deserving of their own rant at another time. But they have backed the manager handsomely this summer during a pandemic and have been rewarded with *.

100% done with Lennon now and every passing game and interview is ruining his reputation, credibility and legacy with the club. I will back the team 100%, but my faith in the current coaching side is gone and won't be brought back.

Anyone that thinks January transfer signings will be the silver bullet to turn around our form, isn't paying attention. We've spent £18m in the last 12 months and look a poorer team for it.

We've tried different formations (3-5-2, 3-4-2-1, 4-2-3-1) and still looked poor.

We've tried different GKs, CBs, Full backs and still continued to concede. We've tried different strikers and still not created or scored anywhere near enough.

He's tried excusing away bad performances to keep them onside and still looked poor.

He's tried questioning their loyalty, focus and effort and still not got a response.

At this point there are simply too many variables that have been tried and not worked that mean it's pretty conclusive that there needs to be a change in coaching.

The players haven't become bad overnight but on the pitch they either looks incapable or unwilling to carry out whatever game plan they're asked to. It doesn't matter which of those it is, the outcome is still the same.

We could win the next 4 or 5 games by virtue of our superior talent but our next disaster will be in the not too distant future. That's a certainty.

If they're.sticking with Lennon at the moment that's fine, we as supporters don't have much we can do for the time-being outwith protests and banners; but in 5 months time when the club come calling to you to pay up your £600+ on a book, after treating you with contempt at this time, remember it.

Desmond and Co. might own a lot of shares that give them a big say in the PLC but we fans put in the working capital that the club is reliant on and for that we should be treated with a greater level of respect and have a bigger say than we do.

If this is the end of our era of winning the League then the silver lining in it is that it could the line in the sand to instigate real change and remove the arrogant individuals that run our football club.

Mate I appreciate your level headedness but he has definitely shown at least some degree of contempt.

We're in for a grim few months but we as a support have had darker days than this.

We've had out-of-touch custodians that have gotten above their station and thought they were the club before, we.won it back from then and we will again.

Buckle in bhoys and girls, it's going to be a bumpy ride but we have a club worth fighting for.

You don't have to go to pantomime this year we are getting it at Celtic park and we are shouting he should be fired and the board answering back oh no he isn't.
It's a * farce and the board need to be brought back to reality and maybe some kind of demo with social distancing .

Honestly, I do not think Lennon has a game plan.
I genuinely do not think he understands how to setup a team and how to issue instructions.
Sure, 10 years in management, blah blah blah, but he has had issues everywhere he went.
Bar his first stint here, where he played on being pals with players (mind he was a reserve coach first so knew many and brought in more) and being a great firey motivator, I honestly do not know what his style of football actually is.

When he took over, it was simply copying Rodgers, he pretty much telt the world he wasnt going to do anything, instead just continued and let the remaining coaches and players trot on as they were.
Come the new season, he was * poor as well, only took a magical January change in formation - more so 2 up top and pressing - and an annual hun implosion to to get us back on track.
Honestly, he wasn't exactly a genius for copying MON formation from 17 years earlier. The press from the two strikers - namely Griff - drove that side forward last season. This season as you point out, he has aimlessly tried every formation to pretend to be smart, but failed every time.

Going by how he talks about the players, how he talks about his (lack) of coaching methods, I honestly think he shows up to training and basically sends the players out for sprints all morning. Then play a bounce game.
Come game day, he names his pals and who he thinks will work hard for him - but in the absence of actually coaching these players and teaching them where they may have went wrong, where they could improve on their abilities, bringing in specialists to help coach the talent, they simply do not know what he wants them to do and go out there as if they have only just met for the first game of the season, every * time.

Modern day football management is so much more than thinking the players just show up and do their job and the manager just needs to pick a team - which is what Lennon seems to be doing.

He needs to review EVERY game, the next day, first thing first a gentle warm up/down routine then in to a conference room to anaylsis the day before game. Afternoon out on the training pitch running through any mistakes made and coaching them to understand and see where they went wrong.
He does not do this - he has admitted to it by saying he had to sit them down after the first Prague game and review a game "something I havent done in a long time". Madness.
How the * are the players meant to understand what they done wrong, or where to fix it, or what the manager wants them to do instead, when he doesn't do this fundamental aspect.

He needs help...in fact he needs to leave... if he is to stay here any longer. Player lounges and pep talks are * wasted by Lennon, it means nothing to the players when they are screaming out for leadership, coaching, training, development.

Edouard is not getting coached, at all. No wonder he is not giving a *. The management does not give a * about his development. He is still young and learning, he is not the finished article. Players do not magically learn how to do new traits by merely playing games, they need someone there to literally coach them. Who is doing this for Edouard? And folk wonder why he looks like he has given up?

Simple example, in your(whoever has read this far) work place, if your manager was sat in his office all day, never came out to check up, never came around to train you on new protocols, standards, routines, never gave you a PDP, never gave you new tasks to train you to move up in the work place, what would you do?
Chances are, you'll keep coming to work, but knowing your manager does not give one iota and is not checking up, nor helping you, or caring about the performance, you arent going to burst your * any more than you need to, to get the weekly pay packet.
Same thing is happening with the players.

I really got done with Lennon when he started to inadvertently tell us all about his lack of coaching. Guys wasting players careers, first team regulars and the fringe players. He is killing this club, he is killing the chance of ten in a row and he is the man to be blamed for this.
The board take a lot of flack for the appointment, sure. And the board for over a decade have let this club regress. But the bare basics of management comes down to the manager, he isn't doing this.

Me and you and the guy next door could con our way in to management with no experience at all, but the mere illusion of pretending we know what we are doing would be more than Lennon is actually doing for this club.

I'd give you more credit than "admirer" mate.

For me, a "fan" by definition is someone who likes the team, enjoys to watch from the telly etc and cheers us on, and wants to see us do well and enjoy the good times and experience the bad times.
A "supporter" is someone who supports the club, for me that is either financially by going to games, buying the kits, buying even a scarf and even then, it isn't just monetary, you can support with your passion and words from afar if you are emotionally attached to the club and show your love and passion, you are a supporter.

Aside from any dodgy lurkers on the site, I would call every single poster on here a supporter.
