I'd put scep on the bench instead of him right now.

If he starts next Tuesday I will question Ronny's legitimacy as a manager, the guy looks completely shot, he's been well off the pace every time I've seen him.

First league game he's available is Aberdeen on 12th Sep

He's lacked sharpness due to a lack of game time. I'd be very surprised if he gets the nod over Leigh next Tuesday. It must be difficult for him in terms of fitness and integration to be unavailable for all our domestic games, so I won't be judging him until he's been fully available for an extended period. I have belief that he'll come good though.

I'm still shocked that we signed this guy. He's rank. When he came on all he did was put in a scummy tackle and get booked.

Very early days, and I might be jumping the gun, but I honestly think we have spunked yet more money on a poor striker. I didn't want him here to begin with, and I've seen nothing to change my mind so far. That might change when/if he gets himself fit, because right now, he looks a mile off it.

He needs some SPL game time.

He's quite a bit of the quality we need at the moment - I'd actually prefer Stokes up front at this point instead of him.

Griffiths is a class above him just now.

Feel a bit unfair to criticise, he is missing game sharpness.

I think he'll do alright in the end.

I think his strength and hold up play will do us good, but Griff has the main role at the moment, although I do think his hold up play and bringing into others has to be worked on.

I am going to reserve judgement for when he gets his fitness up to a Ronny's standard. Armstrong and GMS were off the pace when they first came but they have improved their fitness a lot since arriving.

Even look at Griffiths, he wasn't unfit when arrived but his stamina has improved hugely and he can constantly run and put pressure on players for most of the game now a days. Ciftci has to do the same as Ronny wants high tempo pressing and Ciftci isn't capable of doing that right now as he isn't as fit as the other players. I think Ciftci just needs time to improve his stamina and then we will see a good player who can fit into Ronny's system.

Needs to pick up some game time to improve his sharpness but people are being way too quick to judge the guy here.

For the majority of the games he's started the midfield has been rank. As a result the service to him has been dreadful. With the exception of Stjarnan - where he fluffed a good chance - I can't remember him being given a good chance.

Admittedly I was a bit underwhelmed by his signing; but the guy is here now and he should get our backing and a run of games before we dismiss him.

Armstrong & GMS didn't look as fit as the rest of the team when they arrived, but they still had a positive impact, and showed something, Ciftci has done nothing so far.

He definitely deserves more time,as has been said, once he gets a good run of games then we can start judging what sort of player we've got.Have faith he'll come good :50:

Armstrong and GMS were tearing it up the minute they walked in the door though, Armstrong scored 2 against Inter about a fortnight after signing.

Ciftci has done nothing for me.
