    It really annoys me and * me off when I hear The Fields Of Athenry raved up or the dance version. These people don't know what it means and to hear it raved up really gets to me. I also hate the 'Sinn Fein' and 'The IRA' that people chant in the middle of the chorus. It's just my feelings.

    I've never known what they were singing in the middle of the 'Fields of Athenray' I thought it sound like 'IRA', but that's ridiculous. There's no need for that and it ruins our reputation.

    That is a personal opinion and is like red rag to a bull to many Celts, so better to leave that discussion for the political forum. Or we may end up with another "Chanting at the Hearts game thread"

    need to find the name of a song it's been on the radio the last few weeks a real stompy little number with a bird singing in it that sounds a bit like shania twain and i think it's on deep dish records.

    big bass line in it that goes
