Does anyone agree that big Charlie has found his best position with the hoops. He had a first class block tonight and his last two performances have been outstanding.Under no cicrumstances is he a left back but can play left mid.Been really impressed with his last two performances and would save us a bob or two and dare i say it was happier to see him than loovens.

He's always looked shaky at LB, I'd happily have him at the club competing or as back up CB especially since he can play a number of positions if he is on the bench.

He's done very well at centre back, he's been solid enough defensively and has done well with the ball at his feet. He has contributed to another couple of clean-sheets and that's great but I still don't think he has really been tested yet in all honesty.

Strolled through the game. Big test for him on Sunday, and if he comes through that then I'd think twice about dropping him again.

Played really well tonight, an ideal squad player, a really felexible handy man, he hates the huns too :celt_2:

He is brimming with confidence. How can he look so shaky at LB and so composed at CB?

Definitely sent a message to the fans and manager about why he should be played. Solid performance tonight, let's hope it continues.

Charlie is playing great at centre back. He is strolling through the game like he was Beckenbauer.

I think Big Maj is going to have a job getting back in to be honest.

He has definitely justified Lennon signing him, been playing great recently.

The big man is doing the important things right clearing his lines when need be,but will take time on the ball when the opportunity arises like a mid player.Keep him centre and see him grow, touch wood.
