Seemingly some French dude says it's 10-15% profit sell on clause.

To be fair, they didn’t look like they could win the world cup until he changed it to put Giroud in. However, you think Dembele would fit that role * perfectly now.

Let himself down badly with his attitude when exiting Celtic which put me off him greatly. However nobody can deny his form recently should earn him a place and in the French team AND earn him a move to one of the biggest clubs in Europe. Whatever 'big club' means these days, maybe I should say he will earn a move to one of the 'richest' clubs in Europe.

Manchester United are eyeing a January bid for Moussa Dembele , according to a report.

The Old Trafford giants were heavily linked with the Lyon star during the summer but failed to land a striker – despite losing Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan.

Now Mail Online state Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has had the former Celtic man watched three times and he is an option to solve their crisis upfront.

As well as selling Lukaku, Manchester United also flogged Alexis Sanchez and are without Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial as well due to injury.

nited sent scouts to Lyon’s draw with Brest on Wednesday – when Dembele scored – and Sunday’s match against Paris Saint-Germain. It is said they also watched the 23-year-old in Champions League action against Zenit St Petersburg.

Any move for Dembele would land Celtic more millions. As well as selling him to the Ligue 1 side for £19.9million, they also inserted a sell-on clause in his contract for around 10 per cent. A future sale – figures of £60m have already been quoted – would see the Scottish champions rake in a further £6m.

The former France U21 frontman has already scored six goals in the French league this season.

He's good enough to play for a club oy Man U's stature, but would rather he go somewhere else. They are poison right now.

He’s too good for Man U in their current state.

He’d improve their options, no doubt about that. Take more than Moussa to solve their problems though. Goes way beyond the playing field.

Reading a United forum after their result last night.

Seems their academy is in an even worse state than the first team and the stadium even needs massive work done.

Woodward is a complete chancer :giggle1:

Re: Man Utd. Dembele seems to have a smart agent who is not obsessed only with money, rather getting his client the right move for him to progress as a player, whilst also earning good money. He could've easily signed for Spurs before we got him and sat on the bench playing 3rd fiddle to Kane and Llorente. Then Rodgers tried to convince him to sign for some * EPL relegation candidate which he rejected before getting a move to a good Ligue 1 side in Lyon. Granted Man Utd are far bigger than the aforementioned clubs but you'd like to think he'd maybe hold out for a club that isn't a complete circus act like Utd.

Man utd may be * right now, but it's still a huge club, on huge wages, with absolute * folk up front :56: it's a no brainer personally.

Plus if we have a sell on they pay the highest transfer fees. Win win.

True but I'd imagine Moussa would fancy winning the EPL and Champions League, which Utd look years off at the moment.

This isn't the Man U of old. Going there would case him to stagnate imo, just look at the amount of players who have went there in the last 5 years and haven't progressed. The only improvement would be his wages.

I'd take it. There is no bigger club in the world where he would be the main man. Plus * his stagnation, if they pay the most and we get a chunk, hope he goes.

Aye don't get me wrong if Man U were offering say 80 million for him then aye I would hope he would go there for our benefit. But all I'm saying is, from Dembeles point of view it wouldnt be a wise career move. Man u finished 6th last season and looks like they could finish even lower this season.
