Honestly think Ntcham playing will slow our play right back down. He’s a good player but he tries to play the game at his pace.

We need to watch our players bookings. These * refs will look at suspension tables and work out who to book so that they miss the shitpit game at new year.

He is an absolute must for this team imo. Wathhed the 1-0 sevco game this season on YT and he was head and shoulders above anyone on the pitch.

Is the ideal midfield 3 for me. Good blend of physicality and skill.

 

Agreed. Ntcham on his day is possibly our best player, but he suffers from inconsistency. Always thought that him and Broony didn’t go well together, that midfield you’ve got there is something I’d love to see but Christie is undroppable at the moment.

 

Christie probably deserves a wee rest here though..

Came from hardly playing, to playing every week, cup semi's, European, internationals and a final within 6 week's and playing 90 minute's in practically all of them..

He covers every blade of grass as well..

This is a game we can afford to bring him out in my opinion with more than good replacements..

 

Expect a reaction to competition for places the night.. especially from Ntcham and Broonie..

Agree with this, all you have to do is look at the Hearts semi-final to see the change in our play when he was subbed off for Christie.

Ntcham and Kouassi looked like they had been blazing a 5-skinner in the tunnel before they came out.

He’s arguably our best passer of the ball, hopefully not being a guaranteed starter just now will make him do his work at speed.

 

I agree. At the top of his game he is outstanding, probably our best midfielder. I picked him for my player of the year but I've been disappointed at his attitude and application.

The St Mirren game he was ridiculous, literally flinging himself into stupid tackles and potentially costing us 2 points by getting sent off. Other games his passing has been sloppy.

Whether it's down to being unsettled by the Porto rumours in the summer, losing his best mate or inconsistency I don't know but what I do know is the team has looked much better with him sitting on the touchline.

As you say, I hope it's the toe up the hole he needed and it gets him back playing at his very best because we could do with him this month.
