BT's coverage was 20 times better.

I would never give sky a penny anyway….

But it almost sounds like they outbid BT for the right to NOT bother covering any games…. Or was it for the rights to show just 4 particular games?

Putting my conspiracy theory hat on, I think Sky wanted control of the game up here so they can continue to make the coverage * but ensure there is a path for the audience up here to watch their precious Premier League.

IMO it was a huge loss for us that BT didn't get the contract. I was gutted they never offered more.

If BT put a bit of money into our game I reckon you would see Scottish teams qualifying and competing in Europe, especially with the introduction of the new Conference tournament.

Right away, there's a bit of your money back as you can now provide coverage of those midweek games too (you already have the contract).

The quality of the product would snowball and you'd start to see some provincial Scottish fans turn away from English football and tune in to their own team.

Of course, that's a nightmare for Sky who want everyone watching English football, so instead they get the contract and stop showing games.

I’m sure I read somewhere that Sky only aired 41 games last season, 7 less than the agreed 48. Not entirely sure why…

Really wish BT got the rights for the whole Scottish game, including cups.

100%. Their coverage and standard of pundits are on a different level compared to the second rate crap SKYSPORTS churn out.

    BT gave Scottish football RESPECT.

Their coverage was great, their panels were balanced, their post match interviews were well questioned and structured too.

Skysports is a * disgrace. Scottish football is no more than an afterthought to them.

Problem was BT didn't want to pay the money. BT wanted to pay even less than sky, so I'd say neither have showed any respect to Scottish football. Mind you, I don't really blame them.

Even if Jullien has completed his recovery he'll be a million miles away from starting games.

Absolutely brilliant that we're back. Think this break will have done us well. After a tense opening I see a 1-3 win to the Bhoys. * how its not on TV though.

Canny afford to drop any more points, need a performance that shows we are improving as a team, kinda difficult when we don't have a settled back line.

    I don't think we'll drop any point's here..

    Their pitch suit's us..

We'll have a number of player's fresh and fitter like Jota, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, McCarthy, Giakoumakis..

Our bench should be a lot stronger than in recent week's as well with Mikey and Giakoumakis on it. I expect Rogic and Bitton to be on it as well..

I put Soro to start kn midfield but McCarthy should be up to speed now and in with McGregor, hopefully gels well..

Quietly confident we can get a good win here..

No long til Jullien, Juranovic and Forrest back either. Get this win out the road and we'll be looking q lot healthier..

Win here would be huge for Ange. Two tough away wins on the bounce with more players still to come back.

Unfortunately, it's another one of those "must win games" in the long line of "must win" games. I reckon it'll be one of those hard to watch games again due to the pressure on us needing to win as well as not having a settled team. Just win Celts
