    SunSport also understand Hoopsrecruitment scouts have been alerted to the availability of £1m-rated German defender Moritz Jenz from Swiss club Lausanne-Sport.


    Ex-Fulham kid Jenz, 22, can play at centre-back and right-back and is attracting interest from around Europe.




    Meanwhile, versatile defender Jenz has emerged as a possible signing target for Celts.

    He’s under contract until the summer of 2023 but sources in Switzerland claim he’s set to be sold.


    Celtic are desperate to bolster their squad with centre-back and right-back problem positions.

    And Jenz has experience of playing in BOTH those roles.

    He could become the latest addition to Postecoglou’s squad as Celts move to beef up their title challenge

    Meh, if we're signing another CB it needs to be an experienced one or somebody who comes straight into the first team like the Croatian CB. Dont need another project at CB.

    I like versatile players but I always think these sort of defenders are better suited to a back 3. If we’re going to play the way Ange apparently wants us I think it’d be better to sign someone who’s natural in that position. That being said I know absolutely nothing about this boy.

    IF we get past Midjytlland, the next round is on 3rd/4th August??? So Starfelt and Furuhashi will be available, however, if we are bringing in any reinforcements, like a GK, RB, LB or a striker etc, if they have to quarantine, as of today, players won’t be out of 10 day quarantine until the day before. Getting right behind the 8 ball.

    Yes but we are narrowing our options down by doing this. Ange has already spoken about being more decisive in the transfer market, yet we are doing anything but.
