Absolutely no chance Moraes won that.

    Joke.

    Reaction said it all.

Agree, it wasnt a massive robbery but Aldo won it arguably the three rounds.

Moraes started well the fist minute or two of the fight but Aldo came back in and finished well. I was just thinking Aldo probably turned the round but then he got took down so he could have lost it although the take down was immaterial since nothing happened.

    2nd round clear Aldo

3rd round Aldo done well for about half of it, then Moraes came into it for a wee minute then it was mixed but Aldo probably got the best near the end as well.

So two evenish rounds that Aldo maybe shaded and the middle round Aldo won.

Aldos coaches thought he won as they looked happy and were celebrating, the fans thought Aldo won given the booing and non reaction after the announcement but even Moraes one coach the big * with the beard looked like he thought Aldo won he seemed to be angry and pointing in his face shouting and shaking his head at the end lol

I expected two 29-28s to Aldo and maybe one 30-27.

Good fight this, first round looked like a complete mis-match with Nunes running amok but De Randamie has came into it well and actually seems to scare Nunes with the stand up. Nunes basically just trying to win rounds by taking her down now but De Randamie looks like she could KO her.

Comfortable win for Nunes in the end, played it smart as she was levels above her on the ground. De Randamie could probably try and come back for a rematch in a year or so if she could improve at stopping her takedowns as in the stand up she landed good stuff and had Nunes worried.

    * buzzing for this.

Either cancel each other out and nothing happens or one completely dominates the other.

A tough breed these ex-NRL players for some reason Aussie and Kiwi rugby league produces good fighters. It's fantastic for Volkanovski it gives the division a breath of fresh air to have a new champion.

He got knocked the * out, his jaw broken and ran to the back when the fight was done like the * shitehawk that he is.

Pipe doon Covington. You were soundly beat. Your act doesn’t hold any weight when that happens.

Rest of the Card; Yan was impressive, Volk even more so and Nunes looked in danger a few times which is a few times more than she has done recently.

I thought it was close, both were very active and landed a lot. Usman seemed less bothered though, a couple of times Covington seemed to stop or take a step back after being hit in the body and once he was hit in the jaw with a jab and paused and put his hand up like he felt it where as I don't mind Usman looking like anything that hit him bothered him at all. Im not sure who landed the most but it seemed like Covington to me, Usman threw more single jabs where as Covington threw more combinations and opened up a bit more in attack.

The end I think Covington had given up more than really being wobbled as he was getting hit in the face more and probably in pain and not wanting to take more punishment think thats why he just lay there covering his face knowing it would be stopped.

The KO aside, Usman did the most damage. By far.
