I had a Maia, Teixeira, Nogueira, Davis quad :icon_mrgreen:

Really enjoyed the event, best in a while. All fights on the main card were good. Fitch v Silva and Teixeira v Maldonado were both wars. How did Maldonado survive that long, never seen a guy take so many clean hits to the face and not be stopped. Amazing courage, he even caught Teixeira with a couple of left hooks.

Fitch was very impressive, thought he was gonna get choked out but he fought right through it and outclassed Silva in the end.

Don't know what Herman was doing, he was hitting Big Nog with some nice kicks in the first round then after that just stood in front of him waiting to be punched seemingly. Nice submission finish from him

Its not going to happen is it?If you were him, would you?He is nearly 40, and will eventually get caught out if he keeps fighting....so why should he allow the successor as top guy in MMA have a go at beating him?
Jones is him, but 15 years younger and a lot bigger!I hope he says no.

Id like him to fight Weidman and then retire.Win or lose.

Well like I said in the other thread (or possibly this one actually) he doesn't have much to gain by fighting Jones other than $$$.

Whether his legacy means that much to him or not it's hard to say, however, the GSP fight looks like a shoe in and he has 1 more fight left on his contract other than that. He isn't interested in fighting Weidman, he's made that much clear.
