Hope he makes Tuesday, but it will be a big risk to play him, hamstring is not something you want to aggravate otherwise he will be out for months. If he does I doubt he will play 90.

Anyone else think he's lost a bit of pace? Off the mark he seems almost like Mulgrew but does get upto a good speed, not a surprise I suppose the amount of injuries he's had and is getting older.

I don't think he has lost it as such, I think he is consciously (even subconsciously) holding back for fear of injury. I think he needs the confidence of going a few months without picking up any knocks or niggles and he'll ease up about going full pelt.

He's by far one of my favourite current Celtic players.
Always gives his best for his club

That is very likely, I just noticed his body movement is a lot different to what he was like before, almost looks stiff when trying to get into a sprint. Or maybe he was already feeling his hamstring hence him not wanting to move faster in case he pulled it, which of course is what he done.

He was partly at fault for Malmo's first goal, but he's absolutely crucial to us and a massive plus if he makes Tuesday.

He's one of our most consistent and important players. Very rarely gives the ball away, does the simple thing well and always gives 100%. I love his enthusiasm for the club as well. I remember us playing elfsborg a few years back and I think it ended 0-0 in Sweden to put us through and he looked the most delighted out of all the Celtic players on the pitch.

Not wanting to * on the parade but it will be a massive surprise if he plays. I think there is no chance he will play and RD is trying to talk up his chances, hope he makes it but must be almost certain he will miss out.

Id rather have a 100% fit Janko or fisher than a 60% fit lustig. They are goong to come at us with all they hav to get a win.
These are the games players are made and no player should need any added motivation than to stake a claim for the champions league, and to stake a claim for the first team.
A hamstring isnt an injury to be tempted. We need people who can work hard and run and provide a Quarabag-esque performance.

Excellent news , would play him on tuesday then give him a good rest after that. Would bring janko on though about the 60th minute.

Good to hear the injury isn't as bad as we first thought it was. Huge plus if he's back for Tuesday but I doubt it. Ronny won't put him in unless he's 100%.

Good news. Be brilliant if he made Tuesday. Even 90% fit is better than Ambrose haha.

Lustig could have stayed on Wednesday with the injury and still been better than ambrose.
