Surely that must be a smoke screen??? I thought we would not see him again for months. Still I don't think we will see him for a few weeks RD does tend to put a positive spin on injuries.

That's amazing. If he's able to play and the only problem is that he then won't be able to play for another 2/3 weeks afterwards, Id definitely do it.

This game is so huge that Id just strap him up to the nines and fill him with pills so he can last the 90 and spend the next month on the treatment table. Not a very easy thing to do with a hammy injury anyway.

I'd feel a lot better about the away game if Lustig is ok to play, let's hope that he is.

RD on Mikael Lustig: It doesn't seem to be as serious as we thought in the beginning. He has a chance on Tuesday.

I'd be astonished if he played on Tuesday, especially considering that he had to get stretchered off :97:

I can already guess the resounding answer, but is it really worth risking him?

I think he should be given proper time to recover from his injuries or this will keep happening perpetually.

Put it this way. I'd play a one legged Lustig ahead of Ambrose at right back.

I remember watching the game and the commentator said something about it just being a strain but it looked like that was him for a few months but happy it isn't as serious, i wouldn't play him on Saturday anyway, let Janko have 90 mins.

I guess Lustig wasn't crying because of the injury, but because he knew Ambrose was about to come on.
