To be honest , dont really want another midfielder . we need defenders

 

He is the type of centre mid we need , but i am sure i read about 3 or 4 clubs in the prem wanting him think Everton was 1 .

 

Good player he would start for us so I wouldnt mind this signing

 

Oh come on ffs. Why are we seeking players in middle-league clubs like Utrecht. I know they beated us but this would be a player that fills the width of our squad.

And by the way. We have enough midfielders. Kayal is returning!

We don't need any more midfield players at the moment, but the status of the club he plays for doesn't matter if he has shown ability at a reasonable level- our level.

 

Yes ofcourse not. But I see him play every week in the Eredivisie and I just dont think he would be one of our important players. It's a good player, thats a fact, but its a good player for Utrecht. Up here, he would just be filling the bench hoping for first team action, like Crosas.

 

well yeah. I just think that you can get great players out of clubs with little reputation. But I take your opinion if you watch him every week But, from what I have seen of him he has some drive and good ball skills too. But we don't need a midfielder

Spoke to my cousin who lives in Utrecht, said he signed a 2yr deal to stay with them today

 

DANISH star Michael Silberbauer has opened the door for a cut-price January switch to Celtic.

The Utrecht midfielder, available for just £500,000 next month, has been tracked by the Hoops since helping to dump them out of Europe this season.
And he'd welcome a move to Celts. Silberbauer, who has 16 Danish caps, is a target for a string of top clubs as his contract nears an end.
And a source close to the 29-year-old said: "Michael has been told Celtic are interested in him and he would be interested in a move to Scotland. He has a lot of options with other clubs also looking at him but Celtic are a famous European club and he already has experience of playing at Celtic Park.
"Neil Lennon knows all about him. It would be a good transfer for Michael at this stage of his career."
Utrecht technical director Foeke Booy revealed: "We're waiting to see what is going to happen.
"There are several clubs interested in Michael."

Type of player we need strong likes the ball reminds me a little of Lennon gets stuck in and very strong and likes to spray the passed around , Stood out v us and i watched him look strong both games with Liverpool , gives us that extra protection we badly lack in front of the defence would add a lot of balance to our squad .
