Really like the look of this guy.. hopefully he's given a decent chance to impress with frame in the summer. All this Tierney talk but I'd rather we spent the time looking for the next Tierney who can develop alongside and hopefully overtake Taylor

Got big big hopes for Frame but Anderson has a lovely left peg and this stint will have done him no harm..

A top flight level loan in our own league maybe next season and see where we're at..

Ye, I think Rodgers will see Taylor as a core member of the squad (Scottish/ vocal in squad/ happy to be at Celtic etc). Id be surprised (not shocked) if a player was brought in overnight to immediately jump him. So why not give frame and Anderson the pre season and then loan one to an spl team and keep the better one to compete with Taylor.

You'd be surprised if Rodgers brought in a LB to upgrade on Taylor ? I would be surprised if it wasn't one of Rodgers main aims this summer . We really need to go up a level in a number of positions and LB is top of that list . Love Taylor he's a solid player but surely we need to try and strengthen .

LB and left sided CB need major upgrading.

As always, as a result of the weird unbalanced demands of having to achieve success in Scotland... barring a catastrophic injury crisis, I don't see how either Frame or Anderson get a look in

Get in a quality left back as a starter, Taylor to be back up and loan the two young lads out to another spfl team and keep an eye on them

Think it's been mentioned before that the left side is one he is looking at

Mate....goalies get fouls that aren't even fouls and that was the clearest foul on a goalie you'll see

That would be my play with a view to the better of the two taking Taylor’s place in the squad longer term.

Andersson and Frame are both top prospects for us. It is a bit worrying how little Frame has been involved due to injury after that Feyenoord game. I hope it isn’t another Dane Murray scenario.

Yeah I’m in the same boat as you mate, both are club grown aswell so would be ideal to have in the squad. Have heard good things about both frame and Anderson but haven’t seen much of either tbh. Team of the year in Austrian 2nd tier is a very good achievement though especially at such a young age and first season in the league. Huge potential

Although Anderson is primarily a LB, it should be noted that he acttually only started 2 games as a LB this season, compared to 16 starts at LM, and the last 4 games of the season at RM, and it was the Austrian 2nd division.

So before people all start saying he is the next Tierney, and with regard to his impressive season while on loan, that should be taken into account. That is not to say he isn't a promising prospect, but is far from the finished article.

lol... hey, I'd be very happy if he is able to make the step up, but just need to temper immediate expectations.

Is Magnus MacKenzie not rated that highly? Remember being really impressed by him in the Youth Cup Final against the wee Zombies.

He might well be mate, definitely heard of him but I think Frame and Andersson are both seen as guys with good chances of making it in the game. When Leeds took Hjelde, they wanted Andersson too and Frame has been linked to EPL teams before he signed a deal.

In terms of the partnership with Admira, and that being Austrian second tier, that is the level Salzburg bleed their youngsters in at their club FC Liefering and it works well for them. Hopefully two or three more head there this year.

On Andersson I would like to see us try get him out playing in the our league this year with the view to him coming back next year to compete for a first team place if it goes well. If we had a quality starting left back I would have been tempted to keep him here as an understudy but I am hoping we bring one in and Greg Taylor will take up that role for this season.

We should be using half a starting team of these type of promising guys from our Academy or ones that have brought in as prospects in stuff like the League Cup imo.
