Never been to America, and I’ve never had any desire to go either. I certainly wouldn’t want my child to be growing up in the country, that’s for sure.

Blaming the school is mental, and disturbing. It also doesn't stop someone sitting across the street waiting for kids to go out for lunchtime or end of school.

 

When I was a kid I used to be really into the idea of America, thought it was a cool place and always wanted to go. I never actually got round to it and to be honest now, I've really no interest.

I'm sure like anywhere it has it's good people and its idiots, would never tar everyone with the same brush, and thinking about it, any Americans I've met while travelling etc have been sound. Used to live in the same shared house as a few boys from Georgia and Alabama when I was abroad and they were brand new, used to have a swally with them fairly regularly. They were very pro 2nd amendment as well though, so just didn't talk about that with them.

 

Im actually sick of the US.... Apart from the wealth they are a 3rd world country in almost every other department!

It's * wild how stupid they are.

Even their logic about oppressive governments is flawed. They don't want oppressive, interfering government but they want the government to put armed police/guards in public buildings? Where's the * logic in that? Their cops are already armed to the teeth, cover their faces and drive * tanks.

Time to admit it's about money and people just thinking they are the big man because they have an assault rifle.

If the true concern was personal safety and concern about the government, every citizen would have a simple handgun and the cops wouldn't be allowed anything more than that either, except special armed police for emergencies.

 

So the NRA convention has banned guns for when Trump is there this weekend.


It’s almost like they know banning guns is how you help prevent shootings.

I can easily imagine what those conversations are like. They especially lose their mind when you say this only happens in America.

 

That is you can't make this * up level irony.

 

As long as nobody leaves the back door open they'll be safe.

 

The surest way to remove weapons of mass murder off our streets is to abolish all background checks and restrictions on gun ownership

Start a fund to put a high powered assault rifle in the hands of every Black person over the age of 18

Then sit back and watch as Conservatives propose the most stringent prohibitions on private ownership of weapons of war in the world

Some of the stories and videos of the way police treated the parents outside the school sounds * horrific.

 

Watched a couple of videos earlier absolutely disgusting, turns out it's policy not to put your self in harm's way of your on patrol as an officer quite shocked at that if true

There saying at least 19 officers at the scene when he's inside the class room and for nearly a hour they did * all even phone calls coming within the class room from the kids saying where are the police and there's nine still alive.
One of the high ranking officers wouldn't answer the question why didn't they knock down the door with kids still alive in that class room and parents who have lost their children will be asking the same .
