    Waste of money. Too old no resale value and hibs can gtf. I’d rather we used the cash to sort out the m’gree salary if it’s still salvageable

    Always thought he would be a good squad player for us but hadn’t seen him live for a while. Would definitely take him. His movement is good, works hard & always looks a threat when he’s running at you. Credit to our 2 centre half’s, thought they both handled him very well. Would be happy to stretch to £2.5m to get him in. Seems punchy but we’ve spunked £2m on plenty of * over the years.

    He’s a decent player who could do a job for us, but for the money mentioned we should have absolutely no interest.

    A big part of why he looked decent tonight was the space he had to run into and frankly he just wouldn’t get that here.

    As @Hammy89 said, his apparent fee covers half of Jota’s fee. If you want to look at it another way, it gets you two Hatates. There’s better out there.

    I’d offer Hibs £2m and Johnstone. Theirs a player in there regarding Johnstone but time is running out here and by the next window he will be further down the pecking order I’d imagine. Boyle is a ready made player and would do a job for us as cover for injured or rested wide men and would be a impact from the bench.
