I am still so disappointed. And still have no good explanation for that performance. It can't be j u s t the pressure, which every player said, they have. It can't be the atmosphere in the stadium, Celtic plays every home game in front of a much lager crowd. And I don't think, the line up was wrong or tactics. Collaborative failure from the whole team. But that's not an explanation, just a statment.

 

Has it occured to you that you might have underestimated Malmö? You know, the team that qualified the Champions Leauge for the second year in a row. Maybe they figured you out and did'nt let you play better then you did? Maybe you were lucky in your home game the first 20 min, the only time that you were on top over 190 min. Maybe you should be grateful that you did'nt lose with 4-0 in Malmö. Just sayin'.

We couldn't have played much worse and we had a terrible decision go against us which would have probably changed the game, so I wouldny get too cocky.

Malmo will be pumped rotten in the CL.

Well, I haven't written anything about Malmö's performance. I don't care about them. It's more about Celtic's performance which makes me quite sad.

 

Lucky in the first 20 mins :smiley-laughing002: you were lucky not to be 3/4 down in first half at half time. We never turned up nothing to do with underestimating Malmo. You should also be grateful the ref never let our goal stand or at least be a penalty and Malmo down to 10 men. Would of been a game changer going in at half time 1-1. Even after that we didn't deserve it after the players played so poorly on Tuesday, worst performance for a long time.
So why don't you * off and stop gloating.

Are you referring to the "goal" where the ref blew the wistle beacuse our goalie Wiland was tackled by Griffith? Nope, does'nt count.

Nah, he never tackled the keeper. He done the same Berget did for your first. Either way, the wrong decision went your way.

 

Think you'll find most people couldn't care less.

 

In fairness I don't think Malmo were lucky, they outplayed us and out-foxed us over the 2 legs and deserved to go through. They wanted it more too unfortuantely. the atmosphere their fns generated and the will to win of the players reminded me of MON's Celtic side.

Biton's goal should have stood though. It was a terrible call by the ref.
