    Going for a lynch on inactivity or discards is always a risk no matter, but it’s definitely the way to go for day 1 since someone needs to be lynched.

    Inactivity I think is the best option.

    I would go with discards. People will naturally be less active on Day One because there is less to say.

    I refuse to believe that @Dazza, @Seán Mac D and @Twisty were all offered Town roles equivalent to, or better than, Mafia Strongman, Mafia Roleblocker, and Mafia Godfather respectively.

    At least one of them is likely to have a powerful Town role though, I imagine, so starting with them brings its own risks.

    I guess that we have to pay equal attention to the big Alien discards, given that each faction appears to be limited to a kill every other night: @Deebo discarded Alien Roleblocker and @Tim-Time 1888 discarded Alien 1x Bulletproof.

    What Town discards stand out?

    JC Anton: Town Supersaint
    Keano: Town Reloader
    Marie: Town 2x Bus Driver
    Minty: Town Nurse
    obafgkmlt: Vanilla Townie
    Sean Daleer: Town Hider
    SUMMER TIME: Town Kingmaker

    Town Reloader? Anything else? The other power roles seem like they could work for or against Town.

    That's a moot point in all honesty, unless all the scum discards got other scum roles within that faction then there was no reason to hide it.

    You have to admit that the odds are low that all three of you were offered at least equivalent Town roles. (Yes, I am completely discounting the possibility that you discarded those roles for Vanilla Townie. :giggle1:)
