    Seeing these things happen so close to home at places you know so well is * awful.

    To put it in perspective Queens street is the one of the busiest in the Uk its main link between Glasgow and Edinburgh

    missed all this by literally 5 mins scary to think about and my thouggts go to everyone involved . my phone had died and got home to missed calls and messages from family who knew i was in there today shopping feel absolutely rotten.

    It always hits home more when it's a place where you are so familiar with- walk up that street every other week.

    Just shows that you never know the minute, or whats waiting for ye round the corner.

    One of the witnesses when asked about seeing the bin lorry were people running.
    She llooked at the guy as if he was daft and said were could they run to.
    It was right behind them.
