    My mum took me down a water chute at swimming pool.

    “Don’t worry I’ll hold your head above water when hit the bottom”

    She totally * it and I went right under and I’ve had a phobia of water ever since.

    Dunno who told me it, or why, but someone said it’s bad luck to cut your nails on a Sunday. Never done it in my life....have no idea why that in particular had such a big impact :giggle1: I’ll walk under ladders, etc but this stupid wee trivial thing has never went away!
