In comparison to a very successful player at the same age:

    James Forrest

    43 games, 9 goals and 7 assists.

Abada has already gone past that with half a season to go. Abada has a bright future ahead of him.

Still surprised we paid £3.5m for a 19 year old whose not Mbappe but 10 goals and 8 assists and nearly his first hat trick v st Johnston, whoever scouted him, hart, carter vickers and Kyogo need a bonus AND on a five year deal he’ll just get better.

Better as a forward than a wide player from what I've seen, if the japan bhoys arent available for the derby I'd play him upfront.

I wonder how many goals we've scored this season from Abada winning the ball in the opposition third?

    Must be 4 or 5

    Probably more..

Heavily involved in both goals but still slightly disappoints from out wide when actually on the ball..

He's a strange one but young and with plenty potential..

Needs to work on his end product, but he's a great talent, not afraid to run at defenders and make things happen.

Played well tonight. Just needs space really, that's about it.

His pressing creates that first goal.

Actually thought that was one of his best games on the wing, constantly took players on and beat his man a few times.

Still prefer him through the middle but good signs.

Should be doing better with some of his chances, his decision making still a bit off but I do like him. Think he really suits the way Ange wants to play and he presses teams back so well

He went a bit stale for a few games before the winter break. Tonight he looked back to what we seen the first few games of the season. Good performance tonight!

Thought he was really good tonight and it looks like he’d been working on his weak areas, such as taking a man on. I really think in a couple of years we’ll be looking at a Forrest clone.

Thought he was better at taking a man on but his crossing was pretty poor. Think 2 of them were directly straight to Macey who didn't even have to come out for them.

Proper shat myself when he hit the post. Thought his knee was gone like julien and thats it. Gone forever. Still don't know how that ball never went in :56: the boys got some eye for when to run in the box.

He looked refreshed tonight, doig who is rated highly shat it every time abada ran at him.

If he can get crosses perfected he will be a smashing player, has a knack of arriving onto balls at the right time also.
