We've had to rely on him far too much and maybe asked too much as well.. He's definitely struggling for form no doubt but he's had good moments especially when Kyogo and Jota have being playing and flying too..its a shame Forrest has been injured so much as Abada could learn so much from him..

Right now much like, Johnston and Montgomery all look devoid of confidence and maybe they won't make it here, but all are young enough to have a bit more patience with and not write off completely.. But I do appreciate all are displaying a real lack of quality at the moment.

Problem is we have players in the first eleven who are not of the quality that we really need, you can look at most areas of the park.

At this point in time there's zero strength and depth within the squad, as a result back up players are in the startin line up.

I still think Abada will come good.

Cant believe the stick MJ gets and this guy, who has been worse, gets away with it.
The few goals he has got seems to have bought him some slack.
He has been rank since Huns game.

I guess that’s because at the end of the day, the objective is to stick the ball in the onion bag more than the opposition. MJ doesn’t do that or create goals and that’s his job. Abada won’t be getting slack if that side of his game deserts him.

MJ is technically the better player but his decision making & end product are shocking. I believe if Abada had the chances that MJ had mid week he would have stuck one of them away.

    This is bang on :50:

Abada is more the type that needs to be running in behind to either score or create chances & struggles to beat a man. The Scottish game isn't great for this & that's why he has been better in Europe.. MJ is the type that loves all the wee tricks & stuff to get by his man but the end product is dire with either assists or goals.

He's doing well today but he was pretty poor for a lot of games before this. Definitely more of a forward than a winger based on what we've seen so far.

Hes been playing where he's told, shame he's not been giving the chance more upfront as he's much better than Ajeti for a start, looks very sharp

Timing and quality of his movement has been outstanding, link up play and understanding with Rogic has been a joy tae watch.

This is a young guy with an appetite to do well and impress, 10 goals already this season, we should back the guy, he's a real talent.

For those who are in love.....
Been criticised and rightly so for some of his performances but that's the way to answer back..

That is easily, by far, his best performances for us and nothing comes close..

    His timing of runs
    His first touch
    Showing skill, flicks over heads
    Link up play
    Finishing
Involved in near enough every move we've made

Think he's looked fantastic in a 2 up top and given him a bit more freedom and space. Showed thing's today that he hasn't in the whole time he's been here so far..

Easily his most impressive half of football for us.

He’s never a winger. Needs to play centrally.

Don’t forget his 8 assists. 18 involvements in goals from 32 games from a 20 year old. Think some need to lighten up a bit.

Quite clearly prefers playing in a front 2.

Looks very comfortable in that role, knows when to make the run, takes up great positions, great composure to find the back of the net, this is clearly something Ange has to use in the future.

Seems to be much more involved in the game than at times when he's played as an out and out winger.

He should have been taking that match ball home with him today. So unlucky he didn’t
