I think he’ll get there, would be a real shame for him if he doesn’t because he has the end product which so many young players struggle with. Maybe that’s a direct result of them having their head down trying to step over the ball to beat the opponent for the forth time. You only got to beat them once :giggle1:

Perhaps rotational pairings of sorts could be established, to make sure we have a tall FB, if our CB-s aren't that imposing. Scales has to play if Juranović is RB, while Ralston at RB can accomodate Taylor, Bolingoli or Montgomery on the opposite side.

Regarding Abada's corner kicks, maybe he can let Turnbull have more rest games? One reason why Turnbull plays most games is that his delivery does create chances, from time to time.

Mikey Johnston floundered about for years whilst a lot in the support made him out to be a world beater.

Abada has only just turned 20 and has shown far more than 22 year old Johnston, yet a lot just can’t stop giving him stick.

Thought he was a bit better today actually. Found space on the right quite often, was keeping possession better and linking up better.

I actually thought he was alright today, decision making could be better but his positioning was excellent.

He'll obviously be on the bench come January, but there's definitely something to work with there.

Poor IMO and if we had genuine options he’d be kicking his heels for a bit.

Terrible at beating his man yet again. That attempt by the main stand first half was poor to watch, tried to knock it by his man and was eased out like a kid..

    Happens most game's..

He's got loads of potential and has shown it, but he seriously needs to bring an ace up his sleeves and start working on a bit of trickery to go by his man one on one..

    Lacking confidence big time.

Would be great if he could nab a goal tonight.

He has pace and is direct, through the middle might suit him running onto through balls.

First half he was excellent, bit anonymous second half but his wingers done him absolutely no favours.

Think we'll see him start up top on Sunday, real chance to make his mark.

Didn't see the first half but by all accounts he played well and looked better through the middle.

Definitely think that'll end up being his position in years to come. Either that or an inside forward on the left side.

Don't think he has any chance making it with us on the wings tbh. He's fast, good positioning and a decent finisher, but can't beat a man to save his life.

Has the attributes to play Attacking mid/ST for us, and that's where we should playing him imo.

Feel a bit better about him playing up top on Sunday maybe.. In his 1st half performance anyways!

By far the best option up top while we have no strikers. Played well and got a goal, can't ask much more than that
