Even in games where he has scored and assisted, he always dramatically falls out of the game for long periods of time.

I don't know the reason exactly, although it's probably several including positioning, experience etc.

It's expected at his age and experience level. It's something that can be worked on (I hope it's not ignored, 1-1 coaching?).

The point is all those arguing we are completely covered at RW need to have a wee think. Forrest has injury problems now and Abada cannot carry our right wing for 30, 40, 50 games this season. We badly need someone in and it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Exactly. Far too much being put onto him for that age.

Yes, correct, I have noticed that also. Think he will come good, especially when Forrest is fit, be good to see the 2 rotating.

That's exactly what I was going to say, too many on here looking for scapegoats. He's been sensational since arriving, the pressure of a derby gets to seasoned vets never mind a 19 year old kid that's been in the door 5 minutes.

Was it naive of Ange to play him? 100%. Was there any other choice? Not really. The teams threadbare as *, between terms of quality, numbers and injuries, He didn't have much of an option. It was a huge risk playing him, but people throwing the blame is a complete over reaction.

    Again, he's 19 years old.

Its the same old with many though, I did fear what would happen if we lost yesterday.

Forrest coming back and rotating will be good for him. Wanted to see him come on in the game yesterday as I thought he might struggle but we never really had any choice but to start him.

Still looks like he's controlling a beach ball at times tho.

He’s already shown he has ability and will continue to do so over the season, we just need to hope he does it in the big games in which he features. If not, doubters will appear. He’s 19 but if you’re deemed good enough to start then you should be expected to perform.

It is more the fact that people are pointing out him drifting in and out of games.

That happens with wingers very often and is even more likely to happen with a 19 year old learning his role in the side and having moved to a new country. Forrest is still guilty of it, at 30 and well over 300 career games.

He's still been performing in the sense that he is providing goals and assists. Didn't yesterday, no, but neither did anyone else.

My point is that inconsistency in form is normal for a young player, we all know that as it’s one of a million football clichés, but over the course of a season it isn’t unfair to expect him to perform in big games he features in, if not all of them.

Yep, not unfair at all and I agree. I just wouldn't want to overreact after yesterday and mid-week. He's had an excellent start to his career here and I fully expect him to turn up for us in Europe etc moving forward.

It will be difficult when we are up against it, like we were against AZ and for spells of yesterday. How he handles those situations will be interesting moving forward. All good experience.

Completely ineffective, his age immaterial to that point.

Good pass from the wee man for Israel’s 4th goal last night

If on the pitch, our front three of Jota, Kyogo and Abada is a good as it looks on paper. He'll be golden and could tease getting 15 goals for 19 year old debutant having to also deal with the culture change.

That will be some win for us and for him.

Both Kyogo and Abada are far more effective when they play next to each other, if they are cut off and both playing on opposite wings, they don't appear to have the support to play to their strengths.

Saw he nabbed an assist after getting on for the last 5..

Interesting that he seemed to be on the left there and played a lovely ball in to Zahavi with his left foot..

He instantly looks more suited to the left side than Forrest. I wonder if that's something we may try when Forrest is back and Jota gets a rest or that..

The amount of on point, whipped in crosses he puts in, is unbelievable..

Add that to how accurate he is when striking a ball..

    He really is some talent..
