Some players take longer to fit in and feel confident enough to show wot they can do ,he has played fully about 8 games the rest as sub and they probably dont add up to much playing time , I agree he could go on loan again to get minutes but he clearly feels he has the ability to break into this team , maybe some time and support will work maybe not ,but I'd hate to lose a player who possibly could do a Ryan christie

He's not pish but he's not 1st team player either. In January we should send him out on loan to a Aberdeen or a Hibs or motherwell.
See how he does like we did with Ryan Christie and take it from there.

Called up for Scotland, guess would be no harm if he starts both games.

Must have some dirt on Lennon, the fact Sinclair is gash but scores goals trumps that this boy is gash and scores none!

Also Shved has disappeared yet this kid gets opportunity after opportunity is bewildering.

I kind hope Morgan is a little bit of a Ryan Christie - there is something there, we see flashes of it, maybe 12/18 months playing every week elsewhere in teh league (or down south) will bring him on.....a wee bit early to write him off

He picks the Celtic squad, and he has consistently picked Morgan ahead of better players.

In pre-season yeah, but not anytime recently. Seems a weird comment to make about NL when Steve Clarke has included him in the Scotland squad...

    He played against Motherwell, mate.

It's not a big issue, but he shouldn't be in matchday squads ahead of better senior players, and I think a lot of supporters would rather see Dembélé or Oko-Flex given game time ahead of Morgan, even if it is just 15 or 20 minutes.

He almost certainly has no future here.

For 4 minutes when the game was won :giggle1: I agree with you but ultimately it's Lennon who sees the bhoys in training so he must be showing more there than he has on the pitch so far.

The Scotland call up is a weird one...

Aye, it's barely worth mentioning, but it's still a bit bizarre.

Morgan offers nothing, short-term or mid- to long-term.

We need to start including Dembélé and Oko-Flex in matchday squads, or we'll lose them.

Nothing should be handed out without being earned.

He should the very last in line..

    Shved
    Arzani
    Sinclair
    Okoflex
    Dembele

Would rather the likes of Frimpong were ahead of him on the wing as well..

He's proper *. Don't even care saying it anymore but he's nowhere near Celtic standard and everyone can see it..

They have earned it with their performances. Morgan hasn't.

We haven’t seen them in training, if they aren’t bothering their arses (like Shved by all accounts) game time just shouldn’t be dished out.

Our team and the way we play relies on everybody putting in maximum effort. If you don’t do that during the week, then it’ll be a drain on morale those guys getting ahead of those more deserving.

I’m not saying those two are doing that but our full team is so dependent on that hard working spirit, setting the precedent that it’s acceptable to reward those not putting the effort in is dangerous to in the extreme.

Personally, Hayes and Morgan are those examples to the more talented players I think. Put the work in, you’ll be rewarded. It’s all about team balance.

I agree that we cannot afford to accommodate slackers, but we also need players to pull their weight in games.

There is absolutely no evidence that Dembélé or Oko-Flex are refusing to put in enough effort in training.

They are consistently brilliant performers for the development squad: if that counts for nothing, we may as well scrap it.

Morgan has shown nothing, in any of his performances for Celtic, that merits his selection when better or more promising players are fit.

If hard work on the training pitch is all that is required to make the Celtic squad, there are plenty of us who would run through walls to pull on that jersey.

    I completely agree..

If anything, Okoflex and Dembele regularly get prompted to the first team and are lauded because of what they're doing for the development side's and in training..

Same thing happened with Afolabi. I imagine O'Connor, Connell and McInroy won't be far away either soon..

    Morgan has been just poor..
