I like somebody who wants to back there own ability, get there head down and work for a spot here. I won’t criticise that attitude.

Morgan would be playing in England now if we hadn't signed him.

He's in the Scotland squad for the weekend is he no? Doubt he'll get game time but Steve Clarke must have seen something in him. Outside of the tasty goal above I have seen nothing of him for Sunderland so can't comment, but I agree he looked quick when he played for St Mirren. Having said that the chat when we signed him was all about how he was two footed (second coming of Lubo etc) so he might end up a ten as a few have said.I hope he succeeds for us but we've got so many wingers it's hard to see how he forces his way in. Mikey Johnston is ahead of him in my estimation fo sho

After the emergence of Christie and how well McGinn has performed down south I can’t really write off Morgan as not being good enough like I did those two. Hope he gets game time in the qualifiers and domestic games to see if he can step up

How many players have come straight through like KT?

He had the physique to go with his tactical presence but it's such a massive rites of passage for most players going from Development to Senior. It's where careers are made and lost so going on loan should never be underestimated or a sign of doubt of a player's ability.

Guy looks so promising, loves to take players on and has a killer pass.

Excellent performance, and I was unsure if he had a weaker foot. He will cross, regardless of what side he's on. We do not need to look for wingers in the market.

I said earlier in the year can’t write him off cos of what Christie done id like to see him get a chance he’s direct and teams can’t cope with that these days
