At the time maybe but not now after his negative scotland tactics. That is the thing there is no one to take the job unless Mr O'Neill could be persueded but that seems very unlikely. I don't see why MON can't come in as a mentor until the end of the season that would make a big difference in my opinion.

excuse me? read it. Not nonsense at all. We were playing well and keeping the ball, then we went in front. It went bad after that through errors and the ref, but tactics wasn't much to do with the result. It has not been going on for months. FFS, perspective man. Think about what you're saying.

    - Nobody was complaining during our start to the season so you can't look back to last season. We have seen what this current crop are capable of and we know we have more now. We have turned a corner. The world moves on and things are different this season, both in how we play and how others play.. and the refs!

I started a thread saying we should have Mon as mentor. But it has to be sooner rather than later. You can't give Rangers a five point start and expect anybody to wave a magic wand. Not with Walter Smith in charge of them you don't.

After fifteen games Lenny's results are
    WON 11, DRAWN 2, LOST 2

After fifteen games, Strach's results were
    WON 12, DRAWN 2, LOST 1

Strach's team also lost its first Old Firm game.

As you can see, their record is virtually identical.

The reason we are two points behind Rangers right now is that Rangers have only dropped 5 points all season, it's that simple.

As the dust has settled I don't think lennon should be sacked but yes a mentor, craig brown was mentioned he would be good as would MON. We need someone in to help him. Billy McNeill maybe??

That's the thing as well mate I had every faith in them slipping up tomorrow but they would of taking a lot of confidence from our result today and I don't think they will pass up the chance to go 5 points clear now. We just keep shooting ourselves in the foot, it frustrating as *!

I don't know where you sit at Celtic Park but I sit in the north stand which gives you a great view of the overall game which can be a bit restricted at the ends, but it has been like this all * season we are only just waiting till the other team scores and can see it comming, we were * against the huns no matter how you try and dress it up, and if you don't believe me what was the score did we win, no I don't think so, and I hate our refs but will not blame them for our * play.

A agree in the fact that it wasn't the team I would have put out and that we had no plan B which was poor to see. But I think we were ok until we just bottled it with daft mistakes. We were doing ok first half.

Sash singing Craig Brown !?! Are you all there ?

Or the huns had a really gruelling European campaign which took a lot out of them. Ironically enough, Neil Lennon played a massive role in that title win.

I may be wrong, but I don't think that's true at all.

I think Strachans record and how he achieved it is a massive argument in itself. The shallow * in me would take the success of the Strachan era replicated now with Lennon but the purist in me groans at the thought of going to watch what I would be served up most weeks if we were served the same fitba.
