    Delighted for him..

A fully firing Griff would be ideal.

Thought he was trying to link up as much as possible too.

I thought Eddy wasn't on his wavelength tonight, rather than the other way around..

Surprising but that's how I saw it..

The movement and knowing where each other where was there, 1st half they had some good flicks and lay offs to each other but 2nd half there was a few wayward ones by both. I thought they linked up great, the part about the flicks for Leigh was just in general, he lost the ball a few times outwide trying to be cute rather than taking a touch and passing.

Both took up good positions but I don't think they linked up great at all. Griff was trying to lay and play Eddy in but Eddy was miles off being a foil man tonight..

As was blatantly obvious, wee Griff in his interview saying its for the media and expro writing him off, the fingers in the ears. Can't believe people even mentioned on here it was against the fans.

If I am being honest I never seen a great amount to make me believe he has turned a corner took his goal well but aside from that he never really contributed much

Tha amount of time he has missed he done alright , lasted 75 mins scored 1 and created a great chance for edouard , but it's his vision and natural ability to find space in the area ,and be in the right place at the right time , the flicks and fancy stuff were mostly from a tired player and didnt come off for a player probably operating at 50% of his natural game fitness.
The way forward, he has to play to get match sharp and fit and that probably means 2 up , felt edouard dropped a bit deeper to try to fit in , like to see both play a bit closer together ,dont know if we will see this against rangers though or Europa .

Charlie having his say yet again

might annoy a lot of people with these comments, but I really don't care. The celebration was wrong. It shouldn't be about Griffiths - it should be about scoring a goal for Celtic.

"Mind you, I also got it wrong once. I did it, ironically, when I scored a goal against Partick Thistle, second time around. I kicked the boards because I was angry and I knew our club was in a mess. I got it wrong and Leigh also got it wrong in the same way on Saturday night.

"Don't fight the world. He has to understand where he is, what his position is and who he plays for. When I saw his celebration at Firhill, it left me doubting if Leigh can be that man.

"Why did he put his fingers in his ears? It is not about a war or creating a so-called agenda. It is about getting himself right as a person - and if he does that, he can become the player he once was. His celebration really worried me and saddened me.

"I just think he should sort himself out and enjoy his goal."
