I meant every EL game he played in ffs.

Not even Messi can make in impact in a game he's no playing in. :56:

Commons scored three goals from open play in the box, which is where a striker should also be most times I'm sure you'd agree.

He also set up Bitton from open play away to Ajax.

The excuses you're pedalling here is embarrassing, you just can't bring yourself to admit that Griffiths is out of his depth for us in Europe.

Griffiths done absolutely sod all home and away against Ajax and Molde and was a fish out of water as he mostly always in on the European stage.

Commons was a MF as you said and even he was providing more goals in the box for us from open play whereas Griffiths solitary goal came from a set piece.

If you really can't see that Griffiths is a fish out of water in Europe then there's no point in debating the point.

And yet the only game he really impressed me in was the home game against HBS. He was not too bad at home to Astana but still missed his usual 1v1 chances and the less said about his away performances against Red Imps and HBS the better.

I will not be made to feel like a Griffiths hater by you or anyone else.

I just have my opinions that he isn't the answer in Europe for the focal point of our attack and it will take A LOT to shift that opinion.

I think he did. :bbpd: As in chipping the keeper whilst the ball is on the deck. With his weaker foot no less.

But thanks for your contribution. :50:

You are a Griffiths hater. It's takes some amount of hate to constantly criticise a striker who is just off the back of a 40 goal season and has started this one with 6 goals and 3 assists in 8 games.

No I'm not and you take that back!

I have said multiple times now that he is a decent striker domestically (Would I really say that if I hated him like you say?), but in Europe he is a fish out of water and all his limitations are painfully exposed.

It's obvious for anyone who has a clue to see tbh.

It's a shame for him but every player has their ceiling and for him it's the SPFL.

What effing reason would I have for hating a 40 goal last season very good domestic striker for us?

    You're a talking absolute nonsense.

So because I am saying he isn't good enough for us in Europe means I hate him? That's sound logic from you.

    Obscuring what views? :56:

I've already said domestically he's sound but in Europe he's not. How in the name of * is that hatred? Must be the least form of hate there is then in your eyes.

Was I imaging it when he was practically invisible against Croatia, Denmark and Belgium for Scotland?

Was I imagining it when he was practically invisible for us against Leicester and Barca during pre season?

Was I imagining it when he was practically invisible for us against Ajax home and away, Molde home and away, Malmo away, HBS away, LRI away, Inter Milan at home, Salzburg at home????????

Is this only my imagination that against decent calibre of opposition he's out his depth?

    Am I making this up?

lol yeah I'm delusional for believing he's a good domestic striker for us but out his depth in Europe.

    Sure.

Even though all the evidence suggest he's a good player domestically but a poor player in Europe sure.

If that's what delusional is in your eyes then it is you sir who is indeed delusional.

How is he not good enough in Europe? He scored against Malmo last season and scored 5 in 6 qualifying games this season among other goals I haven't mentioned.

Away from home in Europe I would like to see us go with just Dembele up front because he has better hold up play, but Griffiths is definitely good enough to start up front for us at Celtic Park. If like to see him alongside Dembele.

    LOLLLLLL

So of all that you pick that out? :56:

So no answer to all the other games then?

The goal he scored was a * up from Barca's defender, not some worldy he created for himself. :56:
