You would be surprised. Look at Hooper when we first got him compared to when he left. The development is astounding. He went from only a finisher to a well rounded forward. This was coached and Hooper worked for it. Griff has shown the same desire to work and with the right direction I am certain he can become more rounded.

Stokes has embarrassed himself with his attitude and the whole loan saga of where to go. He chose the league below and the comfortability of it, which has again thrown egg on his face, as he's been poor overall and they've collapsed coincidentally since he arrived. * him. He'll never play for Celtic again..

Commons has also been a man dowm down of late. * at everything and should be nowhere near our starting 11. Pace is non existent, although he never had any, and his turning in slow motion is borderline ridiculous of late. Offering nothing..

Nah. Hooper was doing the rounds getting kicked about by lumps in the English lower league's and Conference and toughened up as a result. Hence the strength of him for not a very tall man, in holding people off. He was excellent at that for a start..

When Hooper first signed the thought of him leading the line in the CL on his own was absurd. He was a poacher who played off a man feeding him. He later learned to play the one up top role better.

Griff has scored 36 goals in Scotland up top on his own and currently could be dangerous in Europe doing the same thing if we played deep and fed him through early on the counter. I agree he could improve some aspects such as hold up play and his strength could improve but he can do it. I is also decent with his head for a wee man. Proper development will improve him I am certain of it.

The thought of Griffiths leading the line in the Champion's League also sound's absurd. I think I know who'd naturally do it better..

We'll never know as he's never entered it. Same answer for Griff no doubt :fear:

Griffiths needs another attacking player to take the pressure off him when he's struggling, as he is now. The closest we have to that is Commons or even Rogic in my opinion and it's clear they aren't enough.

Hooper was still infinitely better with Stokes close beside or behind him and the stats reflected that.

Griffiths has been superb this Season. Anyone even attempting to slate him for a sticky patch of form needs their head checked. He's been our Talisman this Season.

Griffiths is on a lot of money. We have every right to expect more from him

You're going to have to try harder.

    A lot harder.

Needs some competition... we need a decent striker in the next window.

If he doesn't score here we'lre going to struggle for a goal again.

As I've stated on numerous occasions if we are depending on the thumb then we are in trouble. 3 or 4 seasons ago he would have been best a squad player. We need better class players to do better in Europe
