Aye, it's weird though, he's usually looking across the line. He plays on the edge but I think he does get overexcited with it sometimes.

 

That's why it's inexcusable sometimes. Like you say, most of the time he's lookin across the line.. How can you be caught offside if you're lookin across the line? It's ridiculous.

It could cost us in some big games in the future.

 

As long as he works on it and gets better, he knows what he needs to do. It's just implementing it.

 

Goes without saying

 

Commentators mentioned his first touch, or rather, lack of it. Bouncing up high or going under his foot. It's a definite weakness he needs to brush up on..

 

There's been twice in the last couple of weeks he's been played in on goal and didn't manage to control it. It's also his problem with his back to goal.

Which is bizarre, his technique in all other areas is good.

 

Trying to think, it was at home the other week, clean through and it rolled past him and straight to the keeper. Did it up at st Johnstone in the 2-1 game. Noticed it a fair bit..
He does have it in the locker though, got a good left peg, think cause he's always a buzz type player, that he's constantly thinking of his next move.
Ends up * moves and offsides because of it. Things that can be worked on though..

If he wasn't offside so much he would be a far better player than he is. He has the pace to get in behind as well, which makes the offsides more frustrating.

 

You're right there, was a great finish. What a ball from Broony though.

 

Seems to only get an hour every game but he puts his heart soul n everything else he has into running about chasing every for that hour. Kissing the badge aswell classy touch.

 

Really starting to like Griffiths, seems to have really knuckled down. Get the impression he knows what it means to play for Celtic.

 

aye, definitely. He has settled well, and he seems genuine.

 

Really like him and have always rated him. I think he could have nearly been one of those players tht ended up getting away for us without getting a proper chance bt glad that didnt happen.

 

I've only just started to watch the replay but I'm starting to notice he's looks a lot more like a proper athlete than he used to. I like how you can literally see players transform under Ronny's regime.
