    Another game, another goal.

Leigh was a very safe, reliable signing from the beginning, as we knew he was good enough for Scottish football, but he has proved his worth since we signed him last year.

Arguably our main striker right now.

I would say Griffiths is our No.1 striker now. He was always brilliant with the Hibees too, and he looks to have screwed the nut too.

Aye but he's not as vociferous as Adam Rooney. Doesn't have the right man in charge of him. :smiley-laughing002::icon_mrgreen:

My biggest concern was that earlier on this season when it seemed he was being frozen out that we would cut him loose and in a few years he might end up at them just to spite us.

Glad it has been resolved. He has worked his socks off for us since day 1. Talent was never in doubt. Attitude and application was before he signed. Very important player for us.

Scored a goal tonight but overall I thought he was poor. He's been playing this way for the last few games imo

Mate I've given the guy nothing but praise.. I've just maintained that he's very limited technically and will never be a permanent fixture here as our main striker unless we continue to be extremely unlucky with our signings.

Griffiths has been an excellent signing though, no doubt.

Took his goal very well but it's his worst game in ages for us. His offsides are getting worse, wish you could bottle his attitude though, tireless.

Someone said it in the match thread during the game.. "Leigh Griffiths was born offside"

    Can't time a run for *.

Being offside all the time never done Inzaghi any harm :icon_mrgreen:

Another good goal tonight, keep it up Leigh.

    Lol Pippo.

Our man put his goal away well and a great ball through by Broony. Griffiths overall game against Dundee United in the past 3 games hasn't been very good but he's scored in both Scottish Cup games so he's done more than enough really.

    Keep it up palios!

He can, that's the thing, he's shown he can. He gets over * excited sometimes though.

He plays like that though, right on the edge, it was ridiculous hearing it for a fourth time by half hour though:smiley-laughing002:

Just seen his goal, great ball by broony and an excellent finish on the volley slightly coming over the head..

He has talent, no doubt. He needs refined though, the offsides and first touch. His effort, technique and finishing are all very good.

He's definitely been working on aerial ability as well though, it's been excellent this year.

His aerial ability was great at Wolves and Hibs too, this isn't new.

Don't mean in terms of scorimg headers, I mean in terms of doing it with his back to goal with a big arsed defender up his hole.

He obviously can sometimes, but he mistimes his runs far far too often.
