legia kicked out/Celtic re-instated *official*

I checked the UEFA rules on this and the appeals body re-examines the case both factually and legally. So there is no need to show new elements.

Does anyone know what would have happened in this scenario:

Legia Warsaw - Celtic 6-1
Celtic - Legia Warsaw 5-0

Legia plays the suspended player for the final minutes, UEFA says forfeit to the poles and 3-0 to Celtic but because Legia has scored more goals overall they are the winner.

What would have happened?

 

If only they scored one of the two pens they got.

Anyway I'm happy and also find it funny as *!!!!

 

The poles deserve to go through, they beat us fair and square.

 

Celtic's result on the field would stand.

Article 14ter Consequences of forfeits​

The consequences of a match being declared forfeit are as follows:
a) Any team sanctioned with a forfeit shall be deemed to have lost the match 3-
0 (5-0 in futsal competitions), unless the actual result is less favourable to the​

member association or club at fault, in which case it will stand.

The rules dictate that the 3-0 result only takes precedence if the actual result for - in this case Celtic - was not as good as 3-0. IF you canna get * on with a mandatory 3-0 if you've already bettered it.

 

It was an admin error mate and he didn't effect the result but he was suspended and shouldn't even have been on the bench. Its been the rules for years and has absolutely nothing to do with us. The amount of time on the pitch doesn't even matter because he was on the bench when he was suspended.

It's a really tough one to take especially after the way Legia defeated us but it was a schoolboy error that should never have happened. It's been a 3-0 defeat for having a suspended player in the game squad even though he only player for 4 mins he shouldn't have even been on the bench.

The rules of the competition are there to protect the competition. I know he wasn't a big player in the result but he could have been.

 

Been some morning that's for sure will be going on holiday this sunday in a good mood waiting to watch the 1st leg over there
