Agatha had great technique in the tackle. He used to expertly slid in and wrap his foot round the ball. Was a thing of beauty.

Anyone else mind of them tackles from Agathe?

Agathe one of the most underrated players we had in the modern era, just couldn't sustain it and his career just fizzled out.

    Had everything at one point.

There was 2-3 year period where he was immense. One of my favourites of that era.

Mate he never had a final ball, even at his height for us.

For a wing back, considering who he had to aim at, he really never set up a load of goals.

He also ran it out of play a fair amount more than your average wing back :smiley-laughing002:

His first touch was a tackle, his third touch was also a tackle.

The first part of that post is 100% correct. He couldn't put in a proper cross if his life depended on it:56: He always drilled it along the ground instead.

The second part is absolute horseshit. He set up many goals and when he didn't he was an integral part of the play leading up to many goals.

Tbf he had superman speed you can't blame him for struggling to keep the ball under control all the time:smiley-laughing002:

I have no idea how you can agree with the first sentence but disagree with the second.

Both are saying roughly the same thing.

When you said he never had a final ball I assumed you meant a decent proper flighted cross into the box.

That he couldn't did but he still set up plenty goals with low drilled ones into the box.
