Now we might be getting Mulumbu and Benkovic , i know who i'd rather have even if it's not for fees.

Good news is, you’ve got to think that’s ending the interest in Ntcham.

 

Our last offer before Villa signed him for 2.75 million was 2 million.

We chucked in a 2.75 million bid after he signed so that we can say at least we tried pish.

 

Think we know we aren’t signing anyone decent before we know we are in the CL. If then like last year we didn’t sign anyone after we qualified.

I really did think we were going to do some proper business after the EPL window shut, obviously I was being deluded.

The Benkovic deal is insane. It means we will need 2 CBs at the end of the season, before the qualifiers, as he and Boyata will be away. The best you can hope for is that it gives us until the January window to get the replacemets in, but it's the same situation as when we lost VVD and Denayer. I expected us to do that then and we didn't, so I won't hold my breath. This window had so much potential and has turned into a massive *.
