Kyogo Furuhashi

Discussion in 'Ex Players' started by Lebo, Jul 16, 2021.

  1. Looking like the rumours were right.

  2. A number of weeks doesn't mean April.

  3. Technically it could be. I think Ange is just trying to play it down

Ange Postecoglou says he is reluctant to put a timeframe on Kyogo's comeback from injury.

The Japanese star has been out since injuring his hamstring on Boxing Day at McDiarmid Park.

And Postecoglou says it is still a 'number of weeks' until his talisman returns.

Speaking this lunchtime, he said: "It's not going to be a quick return.

"I'm reluctant to put a timeframe on it. We're still looking at a number of weeks at the moment."

    Nothing I didn't expect.

Real shame but he's played a tonne of football.

We obviously know more than we're letting on in regard to the injury, which is good imo as it means we're hopeful of having him back vs the huns and we're not wanting to give anything away.

  7. Nothing is confirmed at this stage. We have to wait and see how it plays out.

  9. Fs. He knows more than he’s letting on. I think it was a bad one not expecting him back for a couple of months, any sooner then huge bonus.

  10. Kyogo got injured like 4 weeks ago. Ange knows exactly when he'll be back. He said 2 or 3 weeks only last week. Think he's being a bit more coy now that it's coming up for internationals and the rangers game

  11. Aye my hope is due to it being around the international call ups and no wanting to give too much away..

  12. Only time will tell but if he is out for a lengthy spell we should be looking at cover on loan until the end of the season. If Maeda is called up for Japan we are an injury to Giakoumakis against Hearts or Dundee Utd away from no striker against them.

I don’t know about anyone else but I am sick fed up playing them with thrown together teams and guys out of position over the last number of seasons. We are obviously looking to get shot of Ajeti either now or the summer so someone on loan who we may try and buy long term wouldn’t be a bad shout.

Was thinking this as well tbf, and not just out of false hope. He's already been out for a month.

  14. I've been watching body language expert videos for the past few weeks and I can tell you right now that man is hiding something right there.

    Kyogo will be fine.

Is he also going to be a star?

  16. If he’s out for the internationals he’ll be out for the Huns game, pretty sure Ange wouldn’t pull that one off even though most of us including myself would.

  17. He's hiding something. Is the injury more severe than he's letting on or is it the opposite? Impossible to know.

If he is * though, Ange and the 'medical staff' have to take the blame here.

  18. Still annoys me he played against Betis. Obviously he could still have got an injury in other games after that but it certainly didn't help matters.
