Why would we sign another striker? We litterly just signed a ready made kyogo and still have the big Greek whos finally fully fit and ready. Kyogo will be ready for the huns game 100%. They are just taking time now we have proper replacements ready for him.

 

Can you imagine the damage when he's out of Balogun's pocket?

 

If and it’s a big if he is out for 4 months the board have no excuses but to buy another striker.Better it to have happened now with transfer window open.Hopefully just hun rumours.

I'd be very surprised if its 4 months. But seems like it's definitely worse than Ange thought.

Could be that we play Giakoumakis upfront in the games the international boys are away. I think Maeda will be called up

 

If there was any truth to that we'd be all over another striker..

Maeda will likely play wide and through the middle, meaning for the rest of the season....we'd likely only have Giakoumakis as our guaranteed option as the 9..

Who? Kyogo's out for 4 months? He was fit enough to play and score 2 in the Final

 

He may be out longer term but it isn’t going to be four months.

He started our last game 3 weeks ago, yes he felt something and came off 10 minutes in but if he was close enough to try play that game surely he can’t now be out for 4 months.

As others have said if that is the case we better get the finger out and get someone else in.

 

I'd be surprised if it was four months and Ange isn't interested in bringing another striker in.

Rumours are like dog * on a shoe, easy to spread around so best avoided.

 

To be honest, regardless of how long the injury is going to be we should be bringing in cover anyway.

Kyogo has had enough injuries to show we cannot rely on his fitness. He may need to be used selectively for the rest of the campaign anyway.

In my opinion, relying on GG is a risk, again because of injuries and generally trying to settle. Maeda is an unknown quality because we don't know how well he will settle either.

We should be looking to loan in a reinforcement. We've already dropped far too many points due to lack of depth. It's inexcusable to drop more for the same reason.
