I really don’t care what money the club spend as long as we get players in. Think he’s a good player tbh, we’ve spent like 3m hours n the likes of klimala, Bayo and scepovic. Just don’t think it would be the worst business tbh considering we most likely will sell edouard for 4.5 times that price

This being said I would rather a higher calibre player but don’t think he would be a bad signing, we need an extra striker in

Still think we are using Hammond's list and paying 4 million for Nisbet is mental think it's lazy scouting or maybe our scouting is non existent and think we can get a better calibre of player in the crotian or Austrian league for that price .

Should've had him in the door last year before Hibs did..

    Was a low risk signing..

4 mill is a bit steep for me. 2.5 and a player or 2 on loan would be more enticing and fair still I think..

£2.5 million + Griffiths + Henderson perhaps? or the same deal but replace Griffiths with Ralston

But what if Celtic can take him to the next level? It’s all about half empty half full ;)

Could this be the reason we’ve extended Griffiths’s deal? I.e. to use him as a makeweight in this deal.

Or was it just coincidence that we appeared to change our mind on Griffiths and now we’re strongly linked to Nisbet?

Was McDonald. Always a risk but they don't all have to take us to the next level....just contribute along the way..

Aye anything like that I'd be happy with. Think most would..

Need to aim far higher, he'd be fourth choice at most

Nah, if we do sign him he'd compete with Ajeti for second choice, he's a good striker, just not worth £4 million.

Scotland hasn't produced top strikers in a long time though, he's just another in a long line of average at best Scottish strikers
    Eddy
    Ajeti
    Griffiths
    Nisbet

Would be my order if he signed.

He's a much better striker than Griffiths.

They hadn't produced a good left back in decades before Robertson and Tierney. Now im not saying Nisbet is that, but this whole notion of not signing a player due to the historic success within that position is completely daft

Aye. I don't rate Nisbet but that's a ridiculous way to judge a player.

It's not completely daft tbf, the common trend says Scotland hasn't produced a top striker in a long time, whereas if we aim for countries that have a higher degree of success in producing top strikers more regularly, then that seems like the better bet

Not fully judging him on that but still a valid point, as I said he'd be fourth choice at most behind Eddy, Ajeti and Griffiths
