Kelvin Wilson

Dan's main weaknesses are his tackling and being turned too easily by opposition strikers. However, he would not have let that ball that came in for their goal today go straight over his head. Like Rogne, he would have stuck the nut on it and at the very least, put it out for a corner.

Wilson shites it when the pressure is on and the going gets tough. Proved it in September and again today. At Celtic, you need defenders who are going to fully commit for the entire game and not just drift in and out whenever they feel like it.

 

Wilson is comfortably our fastest CB. That's definitely one of the few things he has going for him. Not much else from what I've seen so far though.

 

He should be a sprinter then. Same with Cha to be honest.

 

Thought he was poor at the goal, was a couple of yards from where he should have been.

 

He looked totally lost for that goal. It was as if he was a striker in that position as he just looked clueless.

 

he may be our fastest cb (imo i dont think he is) but he is by no means fast.

 

the man is a * charlatan, he cant defend, his distribution is shocking, he has no awareness, couldnt give a * if he is supposed to be quick. The man is dross and is never celtic class.

I think people need to understand that when Hammer and I are saying he's quick we're not defending him. We've both said he's not good enough.

 

Always said I wasn't convinced with Kelvin and he's proving not to be good enough.

Mulgrew & Rogne should be our first choice at the moment, for every single game. Wanyama would be the next option if these two can't play together, Wilson wouldn't get near my team.

Hope to * that wilson is not playing next sunday - His reaction to the goal said it all to me " Cant be arsed going for that kinda look" - Rogne and Wanyama next week hopefully. What`s happening with Izzy this weather 1 game v falkirk and then dissapears and comes on as a sub in another match ?

 

The way Wilson played for us today we would have been better off playing with only 10 men :icon_mrgreen:

 

Never a Celtic defender, and showed why again today he languished in the Nottingham Forest reserves for six months. I hope he is in the same taxi with Big Maj at the end of the season.

Shouldnt have taken Rogne off. He was putting himself on the line. Wilson isnt convincing me.

Saying that , we had chances and didnt take them and looked off the pace. Killie were good for the win. And it was a penalty.

hes been * since he came here, cant clear his lines, his desicion making is shocking, my hearts in my mouth whenever hes anywhere near the ball or play.. hes dangerous full stop

I don't think Championship defenders are very good to be honest. Hooiveld is a hero for Southampton for * sake.

We should be looking elsewhere.
