Kelvin Wilson

Why on Earth didn't Kelvin Wilson attempt to head that cross clear? He just stood and watched it go by him. Was he unaware that Van Tornhout was right behind him?

Can't get my head around it.

 

I don't rate him at all, however on today's performance he's not the only one !!!

 

I believe he came from a Rangers supporting family but signed for us when he was really young and has supported us ever since.

Anyway, Wilson is absolutely dreadful I don't understand why we took Rogne off and left him on the field, that cost us the game imo.

 

Should have been subbed instead of Rogne. Not too many good performers today, but Wilson was the worst player on the park.

 

couldnt agree more to arrange the whole team to play wilson was crazy surely the obvious thing to do was play mulgrew and rogne with ledley or cha at full back and sammy wide and to top it all to take off rogne and leave on wilson was ridiculous he was not marking at the goal he should gtf big selection mistake from lenny

Big game time I'd have Rogne-Mulgrew as my first choice.

 

Still not a fan. 2 good sliding tackles today. Apart from that his usual lackadaisical self in thinking he can stroll through a game. Can get away with it most of the time, but the two biggest games he's played in - this one and the first Huns game, he's been found out big time. The ball watching at the goal today was amateurish in the biggest sense of the word.

But I think we need more experience at the back , ie a International defender who can coach the younger ones when times are tough.

Sometimes Wilson looks good then other times he looks like he wouldnt get a game down the public park. I think he lacks concentration and his decision making is poor at times also.

Yeh looks like he switches off too much. Which is exactly what we don't need. Defenders and keepers at Celtic need to be ready made to be able to make an impact even when they've had nothing to do throughout the match.

I don't want to be harsh on the guy but he just doesn't strike me as a CB. Too casual. Poor decision making. Only real attribute I've seen is his pace and ability to shepherd the ball out.

he made a few mistakes today but he also made some top class tackles that were really important at the time
