Another season spoilt by injury for Beram Kayal. Played the first nine games, got injured and was never the expected force when he was fit enough to play. His central midfield partner Dale Stephens was injured at the beginning of the season so the partnership that did so well in 2015-16 never got to play together for the season just ended.

Beram Kayal needs to add goal scoring to his repertoire. And to get fully fit to make the grade as his quickness was a bit ahead in the Championship when fully fit (which he wasn't in the second part of the season).

Hummus wan't up to scratch in Brighton, but he signed an extended contract.

Aye maybe needed a fresh challenge, but that's now his eighth operation of his career, hope it doesn't affect him coming back like the bad one he took up here did.

Loved him when he came here, some work rate and got stuck in a lot.
Was never the same after that 'tackle' from McElbows. * *.

    * timing or what?! *. Hopefully he makes a good recovery and he can show his best. They'll need him badly as they're in for helluva fight.

Beram Kayal back in the starting line-up for Brighton against Chelsea and shot over from one of Brighton's only three attempts on goal at Stamford Bridge. Also, brought down clumsily bursting through in midfield somewhere near the penalty area. He has been out for so long, it will take him awhile to get back up to speed.

He would have been sold for millions if not for Mcculloch

Fully deserved. Knocking on door of getting back into Brighton's first team. If he could shoot he would be an automatic choice.
