Well, considering the bairn hasn't been found, neither has her body, then I'd probably say no.

Forgot to add this in, I'd have thought a long time ago the idea of a father faking his daughter absconding, and building a home made dungeon and fathering multiple children with his captive/daughter completely absurd.

But low and behold, Josef Fritzl appeared on the scene...

The inconsistencies have been exposed and are too significant to be ignored. The Portugese police weren't happy and labeled them as suspects and you know why I don't think the UK police have done anything.

Yes that's true but the money isn't going towards finding Madeline. The money from the find Maddie fund has gone towards dealing with legal expenses and trying to silence people with different opinions on her disappearance, I even heared that some of it went towards paying off their mortgage, don't know how true that is but it wouldn't suprise me at all. As long as the case is kept open they'll still be able to raise money to go towards the things I've mentioned and at this point they can be certain that nothings gonna happen, they've got away with it for this long after all.

I'm no expert on police investigations but I'm fairly certain they can't just charge people when they feel like it. They've got to build up a case, which takes time. In this case it would've took even longer as the investigation was initially centred around the abduction theory. When the PJ labeled them as suspects they * off 2 days later so they never really got a chance to charge them as they soon lost control over the investigation.

I wasn't talking about why they were never charged for neglect in Portugal, what you've said there is probably true. I brought it up as a reason why I think they are being protected by people higher up in the UK.

I don't think it's a whole government cover up, I agree that would be unlikely. All I'm suggesting is that a few individuals within the government, media and police could be covering for them which I don't think is too far fetched.

(It won't let me quote your other post)

Those two dogs in particular were very reliable, they had an excellent track record. Don't see how the crime scene could've been contaminated as what they were looking for was very specific and could only have been replicated if another dead body had been placed there. The cadaver traces were also found in the car that was rented by the McCanns after Maddies disappearance. Also Eddie and Keela were UK dogs so they wouldn't have gone in straight away. Portugese dogs went in before that and found the same thing.

Yes but in this case there was no evidence that there even was a break in, never mind evidence for who it was who broke in. I'm 99.9% sure it was proven to be almost impossible for an * to climb through that window alone.

Yeah the mannerisms don't prove anything, it's their actions for me that raises suspicion.

I urge you to give this documentary a watch mate. It talks about a lot of the things you mentioned.

Did the news at the time not suggest a possibility that she could have being abducted and then disposed off by the perpetrators because of the heat around the case!! * knows why they would expect anthing else mind you?? It was around the time of these sightings, think there was one in North Africa but rubbished??

ps- it was to do with her eye wasn't it....there was something very distinctive about it

Gerry McCann was a Celtic fan wasn't he? Anyone know who the club doctors were in 2000?
Or who would be doing the medicals?
