Karamoko Dembele!!

Has to be gone it seems, if he’s not getting on the bench for a game like today unfortunately. Shame it hasn’t worked out the way we’d all hoped

 

I mean he just isnt good enough to make our bench at full strength..

 

Do you know what I have to keep reminding myself…..Abada is 20…20!!!

 

Also got himself in enough positions that he really should have scored 4 what a player man.

 

Always have to remind myself of that aswell. Whether he's an anomaly at that age or not, I think he's the guy the younger players should be looking to emulate.

 

What I can understand from that quote is that he doesn’t work hard enough in training.

He’s my favourite player from this season, I’m surprised he gets so overlooked by the pundits/journos with the numbers he’s got for us. when In reality he probably isn’t first choice with maeda, jota and kyogo in front of him, what a problem to have!

 

Still got parts of his game to work on but his returns are outstanding and I think he's going to be phenomenal for us over the next couple of seasons.

 

hopefully we can get the league title wrapped up with games to spare and start him in a few games with a buzzing crown and chance for silverware etc show he what he can taste at celtic for years to come.

playing alongside jota and kyoyo etc will only help keep him grounded and show how hard players work at training - train the way you play and play the way you train etc.

 

Not sure that will happen. At the moment it doesn't look like Celtic are too bothered about keeping him.

Personally I think giving Dane Murray and Stephen Welsh game time is more important if we are in that situation given they contributed at the start when things where more difficult.

Similar for the U21 striker who came in for one of our games. Can't quite remember his name.

 

dawson was the striker - cousin / nephew etc of the ex spurs defender michael dawson

i think he will be offered a contract just a matter of the young lad and making a wise decision he has something to offer us for the next few years as forrest prob gets phased out of the team

yes he is, the guy was just saying he was given game time like dembele etc

 

Hope he’s ready for his chance if GG and Forest are out on Sunday, he could be called upon off the bench.

 

We had no cb on the bench, I'd imagine we'd have Welsh on the bench before Dembele. I'm not sure we will see Dembele again this season.

 

Depends if he sees his future here or not. I think Ange would rather give the opportunity to someone whose head is here.

 

no one knows what is going on behind the scenes, if the league is wrapped up with a few games to spare then the likes of guchi, dembele, bain etc will start - i think if dembele gets game time then it is a good indicator that he is here to stay etc.

Hopefully the lad and his inner circle can make the wise choice - the chance to even be around and sample CL football next season is not to be sniffed at and for that reason I think could be key in securing CCV and Jota on longer term deals.

Hopefully Dembele (Lyon) moves on this summer for some extra coin into the funds etc.

Part of the league's failings is the B team games and competitions etc - if we get into the CL next season (which looks likely) does it also give youth games ( usually the day before or morning of - they used to do it a few years ago ).

 

I don’t think he’s actually as good as the circus that surrounds him would suggest. Like many players, they can be a cut above when they are younger but the vast majority don’t maintain that gap once they get to 18/19/20.

Abada, M. Dembele, Tierney, Edouard were all massive contributors at 19. Karamoko hasn’t shown those levels is the long and short of it.

 

I don't think he'll stick around for next season and I'm not as bothered about that as I once thought I would be.

He's prob still got enough hype around him that he'll have some big teams chasing him but if he's wise he'll go somewhere he's a first team player.
