He has the right to turn it down but if the club thinks it is a good opportunity to help his development he should listen to their advice, especially if he wasn't in the first team plans. I see it the other way and think going on loan shows a lot more determination and character. Getting real game time is an opportunity to prove yourself more than playing development football and doing basic training.

 

KARAMOKO DEMBELE is a shock target for Danish club FC Nordsjaelland.

The Celtic kid has a year left on his deal and is attracting interest from across Europe


But ambitious Danish outfit Nordsjaelland want Dembele as a replacement for star man Kamaldeen Sulemana.

Manchester United are among those tracking the 19-year-old Ghanaian wonderkid.

Nordsjaelland are already working on his replacement and Celtic’s Dembele is top of their list.

The Danes wanted the 18-year-old in January but opted against lodging an offer.

They have continued to monitor the England youth star and could launch a bid in this transfer window.

Nordsjaelland finished fifth in the Danish Superliga last season but have a massive reputation for developing youngsters.

And club chiefs believe Dembele would be a perfect fit after scouting him for a long time.


The Celtic kid burst onto the scene in 2016 when he played in a reserve game aged just 13.

He then made a first-team debut under Neil Lennon in 2018/19 - but barely featured last term.


Dembele made five appearances in total and scored in the 4-0 win over St Johnstone at Parkhead in May.

Incoming boss Ange Postecoglou is likely to want to have a close look at him during pre-season training.

But if Celtic show any willingness to let Dembele move, Nordsjaelland are ready to pounce.

I have been outta the loop in regards to certain players, so don’t know what’s happening with him. I usually don’t keep track of football at all during the summer break (unless it’s something significant) and catch-up with it all at end of July. Apologies for my sarcasm in the opening part of my post — it’s just the wee fella’s physical stature makes him look small and helpless. Obviously, I was not being malicious.

 

If you know anything about the Celtic fan base you would obviously know this isn't the place to be making jokes about refugees that are starving and dependant on international aid. Never mind out the loop with certain players you're just out of your loop

Lad has an opportunity now, hopefully with Ange being fair to him. Get the head down, start the season well, earn a longer deal and cement yourself as a player here.
5 year deal to take him to 24, give us 2-3 good seasons and by time he is 21 or so, he will have a pick of clubs.
