Postecoglou, meanwhile, believes Jota is exhibiting form up with the best the Celtic winger has produced in Scotland. "People forget Jota had an unbelievable start to the season,” he said. “He was incredible in the first few months and then he picked up an injury [in October], and also had a bit of illness. But I would agree he has been outstanding for us in the last couple of weeks. He has looked really bright with the ball, is working hard and physically is in great shape. Mentally he is in a great space.”

We're privileged to be watching this boy every week. What a joy. Hope he hits 30 goal contributions this year, he has it in him.

Also unlucky not to get a goal too. That shot that skimmed the bar would have been a belter.

Assists were brilliant, even if he isn't having a great game, he's got that ability to unlock a defence.

Still think he can be guilty of trying to over play it at times but really that's just nitpicking at this point, boy is class.

Still able to show his quality on that pitch. Brilliant and still not at his best yet.

Two really good assists but I don’t think he was great today at all.

Still very guilty of overlaying it at times. He’s better when he’s direct.

My only complaint was that ball that went behind Kyogo and Ababa cut inside and blazed it over. When Kyogo makes runs like that our wingers need to find him, he’s made so much space for himself in their box. Abada done the same with a crossing situation not long after and fluffed his lines back to their goalkeeper.

However the pass for Mooys goal was a thing of beauty. It was an awful park for someone that likes to dribble or play quick passes. He is definitely coming back into top form.

Must be struggling before you’re complaining about him actually finding a teammate with a cross. Hardly his fault Abada skied a sitter miles over the bar. :giggle1:

If Abada just left it for Mooy he was running onto it perfectly and would have scored.

It eventually came to Abada but wasn’t meant for him Kyogo was the obvious target, I agree though it is nit picking and not everything will come off.

Jota is as lethal a player as Scott Sinclair was for us. Even when not on form, Jota will still offer contributions by way of a shot, assist, dribble, cross, free kick that will open up the opposition or create.

Had we started with Jota and Maeda at Ibrox, we would have buried them and the league would be effectively done.
