Still zero disputing he's first choice IMO.

Has that class on the ball that only top level players possess. Looks like he's upto speed now.

In saying the above, Ralston will still get his fair share of minutes. Perhaps away to Dundee United I'd bring him in.

Artur Boruc has advised old pal Josip Juranovic to stick around for one more season at Celtic before seeking a big-money move.

Juranovic joined the Hoops back in 2021 and enjoyed a terrific maiden campaign as a player at the Scottish champions. His form earned him plaudits and has sparked significant transfer interest from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United. Atletico Madrid were also keen on the right-back before they eventually found an alternative but Boruc hopes his former Legia Warsaw teammate holds off on a transfer out of Glasgow.

Boruc knows Juranovic, 26, is ambitious and capable of making another step up in level and competition. But the Pole reckons another strong season at Parkhead will stand him in good stead.

I played with Juranovic and I'm not surprised because he was a good player when he came to Legia Warsaw," Boruc exclusively told Football Scotland.

"He adjusted well to the team when he played here and I knew he was a player.

"He's a very ambitious guy as well which is the main thing.

    That helps most players.

"I don't want to say much but the best thing for him would maybe be two good years at Celtic.

"Play a little bit more in Europe and then move on. I don't know."

Juranovic would likely cost a substantial fee for any club to bring him in as he remains contracted to Celts until 2026.

Thought he was very good today.

First assist of the season. Hoping he can reach double figures...one thing missing for me from him. In highlights before he joined it looked like his crossing was really impressive and I'd like to see more of it.

He was good today which is weird as O'Riley and Maeda ahead of him were rarely involved. Defended well, started a few breakaways forward and overlapped a lot more than usual.

    Was a lovely ball in..

    Begging to be scored from..

Agreed he was very good as well. So quick. Won a ball second half that he was nowhere near favourite to win, got a wee cushioned header on it and as away....got dragged down and the man got booked for it..

His passing is unnecessarily sloppy at times. Always been the case with him. It kind of feels like he is lackadaisical against inferior opposition because subconsciously he knows he is more talented, I don't know.

He was good today and I love the guy but he really struggles for consistency imo.

A very rare assist from him today but honestly, his crossing all day in loads of space was diabolical.

Glad to have him. He doesn't score a penalty every other game but that doesn't mean he isn't the best RB in the league.

According to some guy on ASCOM who analyses the players metrics, Ralston has far greater assists and goals scored, duels won in the air and passing accuracy. However, the only thing Juaranovic is better at than Ralston at is interceptions (probably getting the ball back after a slack pass).
I said it in the thread previously, I doubt anyone would pay the sort of money branded about by the media, but if they were I’d break their arm for it and reinvest.

Debatable when you consider Ramsays goal at the * put last season. However I think you’re maybe correct, he seems quicker over the first few yards to get back in when beaten.

One swallow doesn't make a summer.

I can't remember a more complete right back performance than the one during the 3-0 win.
