    Yep.

Seems to be the most popular guy in the squad. Well, him and Kyogo.

Just checked actually. Do follow one another.

Not a great sign as Romano has 7.9m followers and follows less than 2k people, so you'd imagine he would only follow the Celtic RB for a specific reason.

    Sell the wee *.

Thought he was class but wouldn't he cost a pretty penny?

I’d still make the argument as classy as he is, he made nowhere near the impact on the direction of the title overall as Ralston. And if he stays here that’s what I want him to majorly improve on, final ball and stepping up to be dangerous when we really need it. Because he has that ability.

I know it’s a jokey comment but he’ll be looking at his age, and if he stays another 2/3 years, he’ll not get that big money move as much as he could just now. 26, just turning 27 is far more sellable and negotiable than a guy at 29.

Would guess around the £5m mark. Alkmaar are a well known club but not exactly a giant of Dutch football. Finished 5th last season. Only the one cap for Japan so far so not properly established for them.

I thought Juranovic looked the tidier, classier player last season, but as weird as this might sound I took greater pleasure in watching Ralston rampage down the right, and score goals than I did Juranovic.

Suguwara is a good shout if Juranovic leaves. He was good against us IIRC.

As for his lack of caps, I think Japan have Sakai at RB, who I've always thought was class

His positioning is streets ahead of Ralston’s, and for a guy as quick as JJ that’s unusual to have. His first touch is unreal, his close control, and he’s tidy and classy. If I had to compare his style to a World Class player it’d be Lahm.

Ralston was far, far more dangerous though. His crossing, his passing, his goalscoring threat, his aerial threat are streets ahead. It’s not even close. And Juranovic has worked his way into positions enough to make his end product count just as much as Ralston.

I’m 50/50 between them even though I think Juranovic has a higher class in him as it stands at the moment, think he’d be a lot more valuable in the CL. However, I think he has a lot more that he needs to work on in his game and at 27, do you improve that much more? If his attitudes good I’d make sure he’s here one more year, tell him make sure he does it in the CL so that both ourselves and him can get more money and sell to a higher calibre of club.

Only 21 as well. Think you’d be more than £5m there, just due to his potential.

Judging him off the games against us as a major work in progress though, doesn’t always give a clear picture, Barkas being a top example of that.

It seems like Josip has a right snakey agent and once those money hungry * start whispering in people's ears it usually means it's the beginning of the end.

We've also had bad experiences in the past not bowing to agents trying to push moves and waving off decent bids, then seeing our player's valuation drop off a cliff.

I think at this stage we could be hopeful of maybe holding onto Juranovic for another year but we should be finding out who is supposedly interested and testing just how far we can rip the * out of them.

Last thing we need is some shifty eyed * turning our player's heads and upsetting our team spirit. Although it would be a disappointment to lose him so early, we've seen better players than Juranovic come and go and Ange will no doubt have some replacements in mind already.

    Maybe, but not by much.

Valhalla's just posted in the Player Suggestions thread that Alkmaar are only wanting 10m euros for Owen Wijndal - their captain and capped 11 times for the Netherlands. Only a year older than Sugawara as well.

    * sake, they need a better CEO negotiating in that case :56:

Was just judging off them digging the heels in, quite rightly btw, for Koopmeiners.

EDIT: just checked the fee they eventually settled for, £12.5m. * me.

Was shocked when I read that there. Thought he went for double that.

Signed a 5 year deal when we brought him £27.5mill plus add ons to bump it up to £35mill is just the start of us acknowledging an email or accepting a telephone call.

At the time we played them they’d knocked back more I’m sure, from Inter Milan I think it was. They wanted more.

They didn’t think he’d agree to play against us until the day before, thought he’d pull out with ‘injury’.

Must have tried too much and people moved on, and he wanted away, and then that’s when a lower fee needs to be accepted with a contract running down. He’s a class player man.
