Totally out of the blue, if he goes go I can only assume it’s because he’s asked to leave or there’s a release clause in his contract. As long as there isn’t though we hold all the cards though, 4 years left on his contract and we’re in a healthy position financially.

Him going would be a nightmare to be honest, would he almost impossible to adequately replace.

 

And he has 4 years left on his contract does he not? That fee would be there next year as well.

 

A news report I've seen in Croatia mentioned Leicester as interested in JJ. They aren't in Europe this season, and as long as BR is their manager, our board won't be too open to negotiate. I think Josip is sensible enough to wait.

There is one non-club factor going against a risky move for Juranović: NT competition for the right back spot. Vrsaljko is likely to change clubs, as he publicly swore to fight his way onto the Qatar NT list. He wants game time. There is also Josip Stanišić of Bayern Munich, who hasn't got that much game time, but impressed in the League of Nations. Juranović, if he wishes to leave, better pick a club that assures him to be the first RB/RWB pick- but that's not easy if you're moving into a rich club. He has the playing time he needs right here, and a healthy dose of competition in Ralston to make him not go slack.

 

The difference in quality between him and Ralston is very noticeable in Europe and against the Klan.

 

I’d accept £15m based on the fact I could see the Celtic board accepting a lot less. I don’t know, I just feel as if they’d be quite happy to see a large profit.

Also, I do want us to fleece the most money possible. I just can’t see anyone playing £25m for him. Frimpong is probably the most gifted RB I’ve seen at Celtic in years and we got £13.5m for him. We should have been asking for far more and that’s my worry.

 

Wouldn't surprise me, this guy is a guaranteed starter with Croatia, played in the Euros and will no doubt play in the world cup. How we got him for £2.5m ill never know, we robbed Legia.

 

If he does go we better have an adequate replacement ready to be signed
