    Thought he was excellent mid-week.

Not in the game at all today from what I could tell. Not convinced with him when playing this sort of game in Scotland (LB or RB) and would like to see Scales and Montgomery get some game time at LB after the break.

He was quietly excellent today, mostly supported the midfield and made runs to open up space for Jota. He’s a clever player

    Experience, composed and rapid..

With a bit of tenacity too.

Still, don't like him on the left but needs must just now.

    Thought he was brilliant again.

Links up great with Jota and McGregor and allows them to play.

Didn't really see him being that involved but fair enough maybe I missed those moments. Stream wasn't the best is the excuse I'm going to use :fear:

Thought he was excellent, he’ll be raging having to go play with Luka Modric after being spoiled alongside Calmac.

Top drawer again. Looking forward to seeing him in his natural position down the right.

Get the feeling Ange may keep him on the left and go in for a RB in January, due to Ralston's form.

You will be waiting a while if Ralston keeps up his form.

We'll see. He's playing well but I still rate Jura's all around game much more.

Deserves his place in the team. Simple matter is if the team keeps winning then as the old adage goes- if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Maybe. I think he will probably be better technically. But you cant drop Ralston atm.

Why would he need another RB? Surely if Ralston gets injured Juranovic would move over?

Don't see us buying a LB in January either with Taylor getting his extension and Montgomery and Scales being in the squad week in week out.

Midfield and up front are where I'll bet Ange looks to strengthen given his philosophy.

Biggest weakness we have is defending balls in the air, Ralston might be our best player in the air. Between him and CCV just now. Can’t take him out and leave it CCV and Starfelt the only ones good (and thats generous in Starfelts case) in the air

Really nice problem to have. Makes a change for us but first things first - we need a left back.

That's actually a good point to be fair to Tony. He does like to attack the ball in the air and has a bit of dig.

Ralston will be fine for us domestically. I just feel me need a bit more class and technique when it comes to European level (which is how we should be building our team) which is why I give Jura the nod.

Think Ralston’s been one of our best players in Europe, he’s certainly saved us a good few times with last ditch blocks covering for his centre backs. Jura is classy, no doubt, don’t think you can drop what Ralston brings to us though. Think it’ll be noticed the first game he doesn’t play, he brings the steel in a decidedly unsteely team. Then having a team with Greg Taylor at LB, Jura at RB CCV and Starfelt in the middle? That gets molested at set pieces

Fair point mate. Suppose a versatile squad will come in handy barring another injury crisis.

For those who are in love.....
He isn't lightning quick but he's a very strong runner with great stamina and strength..

His ability on the ball is improving by the game and it's no surprise to me that he bagged some assists today when just off getting a long term deal...as his confidence is sky high..

In Europe his last ditch recoveries have been top class but he has shown his self to be one of our more experienced player's in buying fouls/getting a knock and staying down for the team to get a breather after an onslaught. He's very clever..

I'm fully with you Tony :giggle1:
