    Not sure about this, his agent already seems like a * if he’s talking about money, so many agents nowadays ruin players by constantly trying to pimp them out and make themselves money not what’s best for the player.

    CELTIC could be set to snap up English youngster Josh Maja from Sunderland.

    Sunsport understands the Hoops are keen on landing the 20-year-old frontman with defender Jack Hendry moving to the north-east on loan as part of the deal.

    Londoner Maja has already turned down a lucrative new contract at Jack Ross’s side and can leave for nothing at the end of the season.

    There is interest in the Premier League and in Germany for the youngster who has scored 15 goals in 29 games this season.

    But cross-border rules mean Celtic would have to pay minimal compensation if they signed him on a pre-contract agreement - as was the case when they swooped for Moussa Dembele from Fulham in 2016.

    Lewis Morgan is another Celt who could figure in a deal that would re-unite him with former St Mirren boss Ross

    Wages won't be a problem... We can give him a big signing on fee since we wouldn't pay much for the actual transfer due to the cross border rule.

    Would be a very good signing and astute piece of business. The fact it’s been doing the rounds for so long suggests there’s probably at least some smoke.

    That latest article from the scum seems like guesswork though, especially given he’d be signing a pre-contract on a free so there’s no way Hendry or Morgan would be included.
